@Saint Nuke

Yay. Finally someone who legitimately explains why they don't like combo breakers. xD

It's funny how you mention "safe" ways to launch, because personally I don't feel any launcher should be safe (minus EWGF and a few other exceptions). Even though I know NAMCO might not do this, it would be nice to see them make launchers more Counter-Hit oriented or slower on recovery.... This would actually solve the problem that you are talking about, because people have to play smarter and work harder to launch their opponent in the first place.

But then again, maybe NAMCO is trying to do this? Off the top of my head, I remember that Xiaoyu's AoP u/f+3 (by itself) no longer launches, LiLi's d/b+4 no longer launches, nor does her ff+3.... So this problem that you're talking about might already be taken in consideration... who knows...

Also, Steve doesn't is really CH-heavy when it comes to launching, so I wouldn't say he is a character that gets launches easily... that's just my opinion though...

Re: T6 at EVO was boring.

I love tekken specially because of EVO and tekken crash. When I started getting into AE though, tekken kind of took a back seat since everything looks new.

In defense of t6, IMHO, it's the type of game that's more fun to play than it is to watch. Specially this late into the T6 phase, there's really nothing new to see from the chars we keep seeing at the finals. At this point, Japanese tekken tournaments seem much much more entertaining due to the sheer variety of characters that you see in their 5on5s and team battle type tournies.

Perhaps if Tekken at Evo allowed for a team based tourney like in Crash/SBO it would be more entertaining (provided that you can choose a certain character just once in each team ala CRASH/SBO, it'll promote variety to an extent ).

Variety = the possibility that you will see something new, w/c makes it a little entertaining. Of course winning in a tourney is what is most important, so along with tier whoring, the only way i can think of to remedy the boring top tier v top tier matches is to promote the Team battle setting. It made SBO entertaining, CRASH, 5on5, 26on26, bla bla ,east v west and etc entertaining. Tekken was made for team battles.

SF4 AE was just fun to watch due to the upsets in the tourney. Plus damn, Poongko/latif was so wank. Although Fei Long's considered top tier-ish in AE, Fuudo's come back via ultra was extremely entertaining to watch. It was high tension all the way. It all sounded better since SF got a new champion, everybody was expecting Daigo, but here comes a different batch. Sadly tekken had none of these, w/c is evidence that the scene in the US is more or less similar to last year. (and that still the current batch of players are tops in terms of the game; I would have wanted to see some top JPN/korean players to see how the US would fare against them in EVO. Tokido is decent, but he really isn't a tekken specialist in the strict sense. )

So I have this rash on like my side, kind of by my thigh area, it's kind of shaped like North Carolina but sideways. Aris, what kinds of ointments and/or herbal remedies do you recommend in order to relieve the itchiness, cure, and/or prevent the rash from spreading into more of an Iowa type of shape?

Hey Aris,
I know how you guys play in a tournament level but I have actually never been to any tournament before since it's so hard to get a hold of in Australia where Tekken community is not as big as it is in US. My request is if you can somehow make a way manage to help a player like me be better in playing Tekken in a more in depth kind strategy at a proffesional level I may say. I think I'm not too bad at this game because I do pretty alright in on line matches but if you actually think of it playing online sucks.

Can you make a tutorial on how to break throws easily?
Can you please suggest MYK or RIP to make another episode of LUYG with Lili and have Kane as the guest?
Thank you very much!

Tekken Fan since Tekken 3.

Don't know anything about pharmaceuticals, but here's a fun fact....

Geography 101

NC can't spread into an Iowa-like shape. The state is already wider than Iowa to begin with.

interesting cast - was great meeting the guys behind the Mic's as mentioned.

holy shit - final Japanese version in September? If that's true then maybe not as early days for the addition of loads of extra gimmick testing as I thought.

@ David - fuckin ninja tier post, big ups.

In general - big ups to everyone that made it - shit was fuckin ridiculous.

despite it being bob vs bob: fate of two bobs, during evo I downloaded tekken 6. I always see it around as a street fighter but I never really paid it any mind. I'm overwhelmed but I think I like it
