TTT2: Play Tests Indicate Duplicate Character Teams Not Fun

In a translated interview by SGCafe, Katsuhiro Harada stated that after multiple complaints of having to learn two characters in TTT2, they tried allowing two of the same character on one team and it was unanimous that players thought it was not fun.

TTT2 Console to Have "A Ton of Exclusive Characters"

Namco has just tweeted that the console version of TTT2 will have "A ton of exclusive characters". This is something that Tekken games have steered clear of for several years in order to support the arcade scene. More specifically in Korea and Japan. I personally am very disappointed to hear this, as I think it will negatively affect the world wide competition of the game. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the exclusivity of these console only characters will only be for a limited time and they will be patched into the arcade version via Tekken.Net. How do you guys feel about console exclusive characters in the next Tekken game? I'm hoping for Sonic the Hedgehog...ugh. The console version is slated to be released in September. 

SCV: Post Patch Viola Combo Video

I wish more characters were buffed in the way Viola was in the most recent patch. My personal opinion on balance is that every character should be as strong as possible. Though a lot of these combos are different versions of the same combo, this video gives you a good idea of the character's combo potential. Big thanks to Salmon for the upload.

EWGF Returns This Friday Night at 8:30 pm (PST)

With all the Soul Calibur we have been streaming lately, we thought it would be a nice change of pace to stream Tekken 6 again.
