So is that new Kaz move have an auto tag property? Hei is tag in if that move connects? or is that just a new launcher and a manual tag? does bound tag make the opp fly in the air from a spike? uuuuuuh too many questions

@Wing: I'm only speculating, but it seems like it's an instant tag assault move. You start the tag assault immediately on hit instead of mid combo.

The bounce bound seems to happen during tag assault to give your partner time to continue the combo.

Here's a quote from Michael Murray's twitter: "Yep. Either done after bound or by pressing 1+2+5." in response to this question: "Is Tag Assault a Bound with the Tag partner coming in at the same time? Trying to make sure I understand the naming"

I think all characters have that same fake bind move Kazuya does at 2:03, ive seen Bryan, Hwoarang and Kazuya do it.

Looking at this video, I think I know how to do the 2-character Tag combos. After Kazuya does EWGF~Tag, Heihachi comes in. When Heihachi comes in, he does the same animation as his Ki Charge. But my guess is that you hold down Tag when Heihachi comes in, and while you hold Tag, you imput f,N,d,DF+4,4,1, then release Tag. This programs in that f,N,d,DF+4,4,1 for Heihachi to do right after the Ki Charge type of animation ends. So, while Heihachi is doing that pre-programmed move, Kazuya can be controlled!

Pure speculation.

i dont really care much about the mechanics of the game as i know i'll probably learn to like it. but as for the looks...

If everyone is gonna come in all constipated looking like that, at least have like a cool pose, like heihachi curls his mustache or alisa reassembles or anna does a sexy pose or something.

Are there gunna be more characters?

Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 2:02 AM | Unregistered CommenterLucky

@jonsf: That's not a bad idea actually. If they have to have the little pause for the tag assaults then they should make a unique pose for every character.
