This shit is still fucking difficult as all hell, so I usually just got for a safe juggle after abolishing fist, cause you have to have god like execution to pull this off in a real match. I think a lot of Kazuya's potential is squandered because of this. I mean how many kazuya players do you see do it with any consistency? I don't think even tongballove does.

Practice mode is a completely different story. But this is cool cheers, back into the training room....

Very good video, I've been trying to do this shit for a year... The knee thing is very informative and gives a nice visual cue. i had never seen an explanation of how to launch from CH d/f+2. I actually only accomplished the launch once and was under the misconception that it was requiring a dewgf! Damn, time to spend a another fucking hundred hours in practice mode. I swear ewgf is all I do in practice mode anymore, it's an obsession now.

Seriously good info. I did not know the command for Heihachi's blue spark TGF.

WOW. This guy has talent!

@ The devil kazuya;
I think god like execution is what is required to be a good kazuya player ;P
I'm much better with julia but the lure of god like prowess with ewgf is what makes me use him as my main now. After a year of using him I only now am able to wave dash in and execute ewgf consistently. Go ahead and laugh but that shit was hard for me, especially since I only used julia for 5 years.

@The devil kazuya - It's CrazyDongpal not that other Mishima player who uses DJ.

Jesus.

That vid was fukn outta control. 6 ewgfs on a combo.

Time to study, study, study.

@ The devil kazuya

Crazydongpal barely ever miss any p2 d/f+2 -> ewgf execution, in p1 he'll just go with the normal 3,1,4 juggle. Furthermore, he's doing it in the tournament. What the hell are you talking about?

very good instructional video. definitely one of the harder combos to pull off. look forward to lots of practice. one thing that could be added is practicing this on a low lag monitor such as the "evo monitor" asus vh236h.

There used to be a vid on youtube showing Crazy Dongpal executing a near perfect ass-raping of a team on TK Crash a coupla years back.

He pretty much ocv'd the opposing team - yeh given they weren't notable players but still in tournament.

I sometimes think that he sold his soul jus' for this one session cos the following season his execution was terrible and he missed everything.

Anyway, this onetime has set the standard for every KZ player wishing to use ch d/f2 ewgf in tournament.

Maybe someone has a link to this?

Not to sound like a rip-roaring pr*ck but, this only took me about......7 months of consistent training to pull off. I've heard of some guys who could just never do it and quit playing kaz. Seems just lazy to me, and now that I've modded my hrap3sa with a Myoungshin Fanta ....its super fliud! I highly recommend one to all tekken players!

Ok well I stand corrected, but still, fuck all players can do it, in a real match..... I think the whole godlike execution thing with kazuya is why I have stuck with him all these years and find him so compelling through the thick and thin... Lets hope ttt2 gives him the power back. There should be a substantial reward for playing him effectively imo other than some of the current high tier characters which really are just easy mode in comparison.

I also got a custom Korean stick made simply to play kazuya.

Kazuya and Heihachi are fucking tekken ...

I love how Tekken rewards players that dedicate themselves to a single character through unique just frame moves and combos and weird timings and such. You just never know when some guy using some character is going to come and challenge the already established tier-list.

It's actually not THAT hard to do, the reason it's so easy on p2 side is because I think there is 2 ways to do this. (Both are 13 frame PEWGF's, I don't mean that hit on later frame gives 14 frame stuff)

When I go into practice mode I get the launch quite consistently from p2. p1 is another story, but on p2 when I look at command history I get 2 different histories when I do it one is..... f, n, d/f+2. That's the notation for a PEWGF. But sometimes I get... f, d,d/f+2.... (No neutral) Now I don't know if it's some sort of error with command history or if pressing down before it goes to neutral still gives it that 1 frame that counts from going to neutral before hitting d/f+2. Anyway, using the technique of doing it fast as shit is much easier for me then doing f, n, d/f+2. Because that slight pause kinda fucks me up. 1p it doesn't work though, I can't move my hand fast enough to go to down, there is always a neutral.

TheWhiteMishima - yes there are 2 ways to do it on both sides. Arrows don't lie, and this is known from biggining of T6. There is enough info on Kaz forums about it.

Vid is nice but it's not accurate in some aspects.

can someone tell me how i can mod an hrap with a myongshin fanta? especially the tekken 5 one? thnx

btw i can kinda do all this on p2 japanese stick, but when im on p1 i go scrub mode, i cant even wave dash haha.

Friday, April 15, 2011 at 5:35 PM | Unregistered Commenterjonsf

*sigh* well jonsf it's a super duper hard mod.....first the mounting plate for the sanwa jlf has to go. It's welded so you'll have to grind it out with a dremel tool, and keep the dremel nearby b/c you'll have to increase the size of the hole that the stick comes through. Now if your head is spinning yet go to mkpcustoms.com and order one of his hrap conversion kit, that'll have the proper plate and spacers. Then go to lizardlick.com and buy a noodles cthulu pcb, it's awesome gives ya a good diagram about which terminal goes to which button, you can go solderless too if ya like.....btw....when your wiring the stick remember up is down....left is right....

^ aha yeah I was researching mkp for like a month. but its clear and lame looking.

i really want a a korean hori dual mod but i dont wanna screw it up. i hope im doing it right. @__@

Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 1:01 AM | Unregistered Commenterjonsf

they have wiring diagrams for the microswitches online, just google it, and with your dual mod cthulu pcb, it'll be no sweat....modifying the plate is the hardest part. Don't forget spacers for your machine screws that mounts the stick to the plate, w/o them the stick will not sit at the correct height. gooooooood luck ^_^
