Knee Obtains Pro Gamers Licence

After applying a while back, Knee has finally received his official pro gamer's license. The future is very interesting for Tekken with TTT2 just around the corner. I can't wait to see which Korean players climb to the top of the next era of Tekken. My money is on JizzMoonFace.

This is actually a very very bad thing... KeSPA has notoriously man handled the players and fucked them over. There's no player's union, so the players always get the short end of the stick under KeSPA's reign.

Tekken players would be better if it remained indi.

Don't mean to be political here but the advantage of government licenses is that they make you look legit.

The downside is that in order to perform a certain profession you gotta follow all the bureaucratic rules and nonsense to do what you gotta do. :(

It's funny because I never liked the term professional gamer for fighting games at least in the United States. In my opinion unless you are making a steady income from whatever you do saying I'm a professional makes no sense. My concern for USA players is that we recognize anyone who places top ten as professional players. Not saying those players don't deserve that title or having some top title status. What about your average joe? Lets say I have a day job but I call myself a professional gamer. I attend every major fighting game tourney and call myself pro gamer. That doesn't make sense to me and I think it hurts what can happen for players in the future in the United States. The reality is no one is making a living playing fighting games in the US. I hope and believe there should be more money for competitive fighting gamers in the future in the US. It doesn't help the potential future of fighting competitive gamers if you call them professionals it gives them a false identity. Sorry for the rant I've had a lot of caffeine!

Congrats to Knee!... Can someone post what Knee gets out of the license? I'm very interested if you could tell lol ^

Wow. I've been reading your stuff for about a year now and this is basically the only sh*t I dont agree with. Give atleast a little credit where credit is due. Kobe got his ass kicked by this so called fluke. So what? Chill out. No one said the Rockets were the best team. tbvyyx tbvyyx - UK Belstaff Jackets.
