Tekken 6: FT10 Bronson VS Naps

I was just informed by Bronson that Norcal had a ft10 match between himself and Mr. Naps. He also told me that they are planning to do more of these so keep your eyes open for more NorCal action.

Big thanks to TekkenLive for the uploads.

Aris, Yoshimitsu is a much better character than you think. You are wrong by saying he is a bottom tiered and a "piece of shit character" on your podcasts! No Sword Stance looks pretty scary when Bronson uses it.

He is a viable character in casuals. However, why would anyone take the character seriously in tournament? It's like handicapping yourself. T6 is a very balanced game, which means that top and bottom tier aren't very far apart. However, I still think Yoshi is at the bottom.

i love yoshi but he is bottom tier. this doesnt mean he is bad cuz tekken 6 is good balanced but compared to the other fighters he is bottom. some examples.

- his most dmg 10 frame punisher 1,1 did 27 dmg and is -4 ON HIT even on CH !!!
ok you use 2,2 its 21dmg and +5 on hit (bad range)
compared to like bruce 1,4,3 its 34 dmg and +1 on hit

- his best range punisher under 15 frames is df4 12 frames 18 dmg what a joke
bruce has f24 12 frames 38dmg

so yoshi is a real bad punisher but this is important on high level if u ask me

- BUT the biggest lack in his fighting game is that he has NO universal d1 to interrupt aggressive players
only in NSS he has

- also his wall dmg game isnt good

just my points why he is bottom

Im still watching through 2nd video...but I have to say all the youshi video I watched before(even though there are very few) Im surprised how Bronson does not use crouching df + 1...I thought Yoshi players love that move

Simply, Yoshi is a good character in the hands of a good player. If you can defend well and throw out a billion different moves and threatening mixups in those instances where you've got + frames to work with, you'll get more launches and damage than your opponent; such is with any character in the hands of such a capable player. That said, fuck Bruce.

This is the first Tekken video I've enjoyed in like a year. Props!

It is kind of refreshing to see a solid Yoshi whom doesn't resort solely based around shenanigans.
I do have to say it is more appealing to watch with shenanigans
and i think JFJ's Yoshi is a fair representation of that although i know he doesn't spend much time probably using Yoshi
I reckon that there should be more matches like these just for the community but rather than using their mains
use sub characters it would be interesting and refreshing to see peoples play styles transformed in the form of different characters, whether they be high or low tier.
Also great use of flash i have to say

Yoshi is ass. Always has been, always will be.

And that fc df+1 is so easy to see it's not worth to do.

This is a great FT10 showing how yoshi can be used PROPERLY to win. Good use of MED, well rounded mixups and NSS. Bronson has a very solid yoshi. There's no doubt about that. As for people saying he's a shitty char. On paper... yeah he is. I thing DeathbyBears said it perfectly though. In the hands of a good player any char. is a bad ass!

Good shit Bronson!
