Tekken Force 4

This was an interesting tournament in my eyes because I felt like Asim struggled more then he should have in the grand finals. Is he finally exposed? Big thanks to TekkenLondon for the uploads as well as the ridiculous commentary.

Is it me or does Imperial look like Seth Green from "Can't Hardly Wait". I dare you to wiki it!

Can't wait for the next TF.

I've asked this before but. Why the fuck is that chick playing Tekken? She belongs in the kitchen lol. Especially when she drops combos that cost her the match.

Watch the end of the Bonusjin vs Christina mach.

Man that was funny! You almost had me believing you weren't a virgin.

@reality I'd rather be a virgin then someone who gets offended by a sexist joke .

You must be a girl or a fagot.

Ether way both you and Christina need to stop playing tekken and get to the kitchen.

Hardly call that a dropped combo. Off axis wall attacks are random by principle, you can't fault the player too much.

Actually, Christina is one of the most consistent players I've seen when it comes to combo's. I've yet to see her accidentally do a d/f+1 instead of a d,d/f+1 that I've seen so many Julia player fall prey to.

And yet again, Asim destroys the competition. Would be great if he could make it to EVO, but it seems he'll be in Asia for the next 2 months.

wow that Asim dude got exposed bad with all those d+2 he really only does about 6 moves with eddy minus the juggles and when he gets stuck just start throwing out grabs. His miguel is nothing new just same ol d/f 1 shenanigans.

@C.Bear

What's wrong with only using the most useful moves? It's the same way Holeman or Rain play with Lars and that is pretty much the most effective way to play with Eddy.

I don't see how Asim was "exposed", Zakuta was a fierce competitor and she sidestepped accordingly and punished with good reads. Asim is still a beast. Throwing out grabs isn't as easy as you say it is. Getting the proper movement to be in the range to execute a grab at such a high level is pretty skillful. And it's not the d/f+1 shenanigans that make his Miguel shine, it's his intelligent use of him. I.e. 7:36 of the grand finals, notice how he adapted to the situation and spaced so masterfully to get the maximum output of the situation. He didn't run after a potential off axis juggle like a dog, he was careful and calculating. And lastly, his throw breaking skills at the climax moments of the round are what won him the match... further trademarks of a really skilled player.

But I am interested in seeing other faults you see in his play. He honestly does look like the most ideal tournament player. Had he more experience playing people at a higher level like in Korea, Japan, SoCal, or NY I think he'd be among the best.

Looking at the TF4 thread on zaibatsu it seems that Asim was/is ill so he may not have been in top form.
