Harada has just tweeted...

Im sorry, I know I shouldn't be posting so much but this topic and the comments on it have gotten me pretty hot. Main because the reaction from people is quite the opposite of what I thought it would be. I mean, so many people have been trying to break through to namco in getting a release of t6/ttt2 outside of the pacific region, and now that there is some hope it actually might happen, there are others trying to shit on their efforts? What the fuck? And the people who are doing the shitting are tekken fans as well? WHAT THE FUCK!? this is something that im truly trying wrap my head around but im afraid my efforts are futile.

People should be happy about location tests in NA because if it turns out to be fruitful, you might see a ttt2 cab near you. And if it doesn't, well you weren't getting shit to begin with so its not like you are losing anything.
FUCK!!

But it is at the expense of the console version, which of course sucked for Tekken 6 BR. I am just saying it would mean they would be trying to please a few people at the expense of millions of other people.

To most people it's a big deal cause they dont have arcades where they stay it's not the late 90's anymore american arcade culture small really small an when you look at the way namco is gonig about this whole thing it's just strange thier is no reason why they cant just release the game in a timely fashion so that everyone in the Tekken community can enjoy it there are other people outside of CA TX NY that love Tekken too namco's gotta see that an if your wondering I stay in cali I'm just basing my prospective on the greater good of the game and it's community cause SSF4 is dope but I don't play that shit I play Tekken.

you know i think every1 that lives in a different state other than NY, CA,or TX should get a community together and start up there own damn arcade and show Harada-san you care and will buy a cab. I believe we can bring back a arcade scene maybe if we are able to get more people to stop playing dumbs ass FPS and xbox. just tell your friends about playing a cool fighting game such as tekken

YEAH YEAH this not gonna work unless every1 in a different state had a rich friend. DAMN I need to find a Rich friend. anywayy ppl should put there money together to buy a cab.. if you don't play in the arcade or have a arcade then bring the arcade to your house. now I know some of you would say "well thats why we have a console release"' but what I mean is alot of you guys play sessions right? So why not put your damn money together and buy a damn cab. you guys may have a friend that owns/work at a store. just have the store owner have your cab to make money off of but still let you guys play on it. Now thts a smart idea. as long as every1 has money to put in together then this might work. its kinda like a bootleg way of having a arcade but it can may work. if anything rent a house buy arcade games including TTT2 and make a profit so every1 can experience the game and play it before console release so you don't have to play catch-up. all you people have jobs so make some money, put it together and buy ttt2. it can be easily set up in some1 house and just invite friends over to play during Fridays and weekends. If we were only able to do this then every1 would be happy

I believe more people should support the idea of Harada-san bringing ttt2 just to see if he can make money off of it. If you don't want the arcade scene to die then why not help it grow and get better. for the people that have jobs why no t give money to the arcade owner to help them keep the arcade and get new games for people to play because there are some more games we should be playing. I can't really think of any off the top of head atm but there are games we should play.

Now back to ttt2. If we are able to get TTT2 state side and/or worldwide then I believe every1 should get more than 1 cabinet because I think all the money that was spent on the cabinet can be gained back in a matter of weeks. 2 weeks at the most. the more cabinets that we get the more players/people can play the game in the local arcade they go to. But seriously I have a friend that is trying to start up an arcade in his area in hopes to get future fighting games in arcades. if thats not 1 step closer to starting a brand new arcade scene which is dead at the moment then I don't know what is. Sorry for all these long rants and stuff but I love the arcade and very unhappy that its dead. I want to relive the glory days of playing in the arcade with friends

ok I have 1 more thing to say before I go to bed. this go's out to ARIS. please read my last 2 post and give me your opinion on them. I think this is a great topic to talk about on your podcast which there haven't been any recently. probably MYK's fault right? LOL but really if you need a topic then this is it. I think you should spread the word to more people around the world that listen to your podcast. anyway thts it. I hope that we can get tag 2 soon because I am dying to play it. this will be the 1 of the best fighting games of all time.

The same can be done with a console version...just rent out a place and have a bunch of setups of different competetive games and just charge people to play or by how long they're playing....all of this combined would be waaaaay cheaper and more feasable than JUST ONE of those super expensive cabinets...its a recession breh...who really trying to drop tens of thousands on JUST 1 cabinet??...the current arcade format just isn't profitable at all...and imo unless you're filthy rich (no pun) it just isn't worth it to make that kind of investment when you're more than likely to not make any kind of profitable return on your investment

@dfex, If it wasnt profitable than the current machines wouldn't even b for sale. Let alone tekkn being number 1 arcade game in the world. It all comes down to the field of dreams. If you build it, they will come. Arcades are the best place for a gaming experience. Just like the theatre is for watching movies. Going to the movies can be mamy times more expensive than going to the arcade. Yet many many people go to them every week. But how can someone go to an arcade if there are none around? Just because there isn't a supply doesn't mean there isnt a demand.

Harada blamed the death of many arcades in america on the owners not getting the newer better more expensive machine because of theie reluctance of wanting to charge their customers more per play. But this idea is asinine because people will pay for what they get. If the experience is good than, then they wont mind paying more. I know that's the case for me. But then again, the machines can't do all the work. Its also up to the owners keep things interesting and providing what there customers want. I think super arcade does an excellent job at this and others should follow suit.

So yeah, these machines can be profitable. You just sort of have to know what you're doing.

arcades are more than just for playing games ... they can also be social outlets. for the average player sitting at home alone playing his fps games or even t6 online ... he is not really interacting with anyone and for tons of people to do this, this is quite sad.

arcades are awesome because you can come and go as you please, which means it is open to the public. console house gatherings are NOT open to the public - they are invite only, whether you are inviting everyone from a certain area or not. in arcades, it is where we had met the same scrubs who are now very strong tournament-placing players.

if you sit at home playing t6 online all day and someone has a house gathering 30 minutes away, you are most likely just going to sit at home and play t6 online ... this is why online players do not have a strong concept of the game - they are not exposed to the bad habits they carry while playing online. in turn, this makes online players lazy and lowers the overall skill level of our country.

I want more arcade places in Sacramento, CA. As long as they can get a TTT 2 game in Strikes bowling fun center & Dave & Busters!
