TR - First Image of New Female Vampire Character
BY Wonkey ON Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:52AM
UPDATE: Harada reveals more images of the character during MASTERCUP.6, Images added below.
Here's a first glimpse of the new Female Vampire character that is coming to the free-to-play Tekken Revolution game. I can't really identify what magazine the image is from but it mentions "Tekken Sports Press" November 3rd Issue. Big thanks to Yuxiao Liu for sharing it with us through the Melbourne Tekken Group. You can see a bigger image of it below.

What the f*** is wrong with all the haters o.O. I haven't seen one valid argument for hating this character. "She's a vampire" And the Mishima family are devils -_-. Kuma is a f***ing Bear. We have kangaroos, robots, old useless men with explosives (Dr.Bsoconovitch) and even a Dinosaur. Bring in a vampire and suddenly "OOOOH no that's so gay supernatural herp derp."...sex appeal....seriously? Look at christie -_-. Theres is nothing wrong with the character, as long as she has a new fighting style from all the other characters and a unique moveset, she's fine.
Where is our Devil Ganny? Harada says he listens to his fans. But he is either lying or listening to these idiotic moe newbs who only want young females ( thus, female Paul and ganryu versions, young vampire girl ).
Also, no mention of a resolution to the continuous disconnects that keep happening in TR?
Well.... She's here to stay my butthurt friends. And she'll probably hard as hell to use, but rewarding to master. Either way, mechanics are what matters and I'm sure the same people bitching will try her out and start learning her.
"What the f*** is wrong with all the haters o.O. I haven't seen one valid argument for hating this character. "She's a vampire"
Actually, I don't mind that much the fact she's a vampire, although the idea of female vampires in fighting games of course is far from being original thereby it's actually quite weak too. So stop acting like a butthurt kid. My reasons (and others) for hating this character are well established in the 2nd page of these comments.
I'm no hater, I really like the idea that we get a new character (just to think that we will be apart of this one) That makes me so happy, I really don't care what she or he looks like, it could rahter be the salmon Fish and I wouldn't care :P
But one thing that worries me is that Tekken Revolution may not be on PS4 and I really need a decent fighting game on the new system (if not we get one at all)
And a last thing, Harada/Tekken team, please bring Yoshimitsu to Revolution before that girl named Anna Williams kill Harada because she's seem very mad lol :P just look at her posts at the official Tekken page on facebook and a lot of other Tekken Revolution posts around the web.
Is she going to be Viola in Tekken? She is holding a ball of energy
Is Chris G going to play Tekken now?
or both?
:O
Most of the haters' points are invalid, especially GIZOUGHTE's.
He's complaining about cute anime young women while he's obsessed over Lars!?! Lars receives more hate than these cute girls in terms of both gameplay and design. At least the high school girls aren't overused in high level play; that's where the Mishimas become popular.
Cute anime high school girls are the best way to attract female players. Most of the good players have girlfriends who play Tekken as well, and they use those girls.
Same goes to those who hate bound. Bound is required to connect some moves in longer juggles, such as DJ's CD 3, Xiaoharu 4~3, Kazuya's f+1+2, and Lili ff+3,3+4. Good luck attempting those in DR.
LOL I GET A SHOUTOUT from the guy defending them kawaii animu schoolgirls.
> Law gets the same ton of hate (or more), same with many other characters like Bruce, Bob, etc.
> Erm no I'm not obsessed with Lars. Funny how blinded you can get just by my Lars spam signature in gamefaqs.
> Please do tell why most of the haters' points are invalid when the best defense you provide is "Cute anime high school girls are the best way to attract female players." which is stupidly immeasurable and subjective. Of course I'm not speaking on behalf of the female fans but there ARE /dedicated/ female Tekken fans out there who prefer them pretty boyz like Lars, Hwoarang, Jin, Steve, etc. and despise the absolute shit out of the generic anime girls who keep getting shoved on our faces.
Tekken IS close into being a kawaii generic animufest like DoA and SoulCalibur. It actually already is now, just compare Tekken 1-4 to 5-TTT2. Behind the redundant Mishima chaos since the first game it's already the anime girls' spotlight while the rest are like whatsmyfaceagain and don't have any character development (at least Leo and Steve got out of that void). I had no problem with the KASGs before, they were still likable, but if it's them who're gonna be the future face of Tekken and the game's gonna have a girly, kiddy, Otaku-nerdish image instead of being badass like before..?? Ughh, hell no Namco wtf.
This guy above, 110% all the fucking way.
@GIZOUGHTE
Again, your point is invalid. You do realize everyone in Tekken has always been an anime fighting game? With the exception of Law, Paul, Bruce, Marduk, Lei, Bob and Dragunov, pretty much everyone is a staple of Japanese media. What if they're no longer KASGs in the next Tekken installments because they're 20, 21 or 22? If we put those schoolgirls in a dangerous situation like in Blood Vengeance, it wouldn't be all "generic animu fest". They become badass, look at Xiaoyu in the movie. Big chance that we're losing schoolgirls in the future because they're growing up. And they will lose dignity.
I'd rather have these schoolgirls over those slutty assassins (Wiliams sisters, Kuni, Zafina).
Kunimitsu slutty assassin? she was perhaps one of least sexualized characters in the whole game, along with Jun. Kunimitsu's outfits was (until TTT2 that is) reveling no skin at all, plus she wore like baggy clothing as well, besides the Taki'ish start costume from TTT and ofcause fan art which you can't really complain about. So for a fighting character, I would say she's pretty neural =/
While tekken always had anime vibe going on, it has never been strong as in the later games, seroiusly just watch the first 3 games openings pay attention to the presentation.
@RenegadeOtakuVirgin
Lmfao! Tekken BV was so badass? That movie wasn't even worth titled as Blood Vengeance, that was Tekken: The Kawaii Adventures of Xiaoxiao and Alisa-chan. I still love how you "prove" my argument invalid when the next thing you type is pretty much "I'm an Otaku guy I love kawaii anime schoolgirls Japanese media all the way I also hate mature women they're uninteresting and old so they are sluts.".
End of the day, most of you complaining Virgins are still gonna be playing Tekken.
Disgusting. Is this the result of Namco's "creative" minds? That character looks like it belongs to Soul Calibur 5.
"Harada says he listens to his fans. But he is either lying or listening to these idiotic moe newbs who only want young females ( thus, female Paul and ganryu versions, young vampire girl )."
Lmfao so fucking true. Those "fans" he's trying to appeal to are those moe noobs who only play the game for about a month and a half after launch.
