Well, at east the game looks crisp. Nice use of Unreal engine 4 I guess.

My main concern is that the game really doesn't feel like something new. It's like, ok, so they removed the bound but replaced it by the tailspin. Woop-dee-doo! Everything else looks and plays exact the same as T6. Look at Lars and Paul -the same movement, the same attacks, the same animation. This looks and feels like Tekken 6.5.

Ok, the getting up is easier because some of the clusterfuck that was the okizeme is gone, but that was actually a fun part of the game which required skill and needed set-ups. It was a mindgame which is now gone. That's not how we wanted the game to be 'easier'. We want Namco to remove the random properties of all the moves that have no other use besides make the game feel like it has unnecessary depth. That is NOT depth, that is randomness.

Everybody agrees that Tekken 3 was the best game. Why? Because the roster was smaller, yes, but the most important part; the characters didn't have 200+ moves each and all those moves didn't have random properties that required alot of irrelevant knowledge to play the game. That's why T3 is considered the best game.

I still am a little bit excited to see the tweaks and how the different characters play out and the new tier list will be and so on. It seems like both Bob and Miguel is gone. Man, I hated those cunts! Looks like no Zafina, Wang or Roger Jr. either. Good! The less characters, the better!

I'm just little bit excited, but I'm not dying to play the game, you know. I want to die. Harada, why am I not dying?

Edit: Also, there still is time for Harada to fuck up the game. Like a last minute change so you have to buy gems to get some powers or your character can 'level up' so it has more life and whatnot! Like they fucked up Revolution.... I have faith in Harada, his cuntiness will rise and fuck up T7 beyond recognition. I promise. You heard it here first, folks!

@tekkenlover-----> That news is so last week, and even then theres still doubt if lizard squad hacked these websites. Anonymous only wants attention. Theyre irrelevant since the DDOS attacks arent as bad as people thinks it is. Thats the only thing anonymous is good for, fake PR.

you had it wrong. Its the reverse, lizard squad is the off shoot group of lulsec. The ones that really hacked PSN and XBL before. lulsec? lizard squad? LS? Anonymous is only there for attention. And the accounts are compromised since last week, the effects only seen today. Even NEOGAF didnt acknowledge anonymous as the suspect of these hacks.

The gameplay as we all agree looks underwhelming, nearly nothing new. But maybe they are focussing hardcore on the story and the storymode? Maybe all the resources are put into that?
Who knows.

What if they're making a new type of story mode? And putting alot of their time and resources into that? Not like scenario campaign or anything but a more Devil Within kind of feel? For new players and old players alike? What if the story mode has all those new mechanics that everyone has been DYING for? I dunno coz the story seems like it's going to be very important and maybe the normal one on one is just for those that want it (hardcore, alot of old school players etc.). Despite how much I love the way tekken 7 looks, I can honestly say that no matter how tekken looks i will always support it because I love the franchise and I we all know the potential this game has. I think a good story mode will get loads more people to buy this game.
