NeoEmpire Interview

I was interviewed by neoempire.com. More specifically by one of the best reviewers of all time. Below you can find an excerpt from the interview and Kaworu's MK guide review. You can read the complete interview HERE.
"You are well known as a player who is happy to speak your mind and voice your opinions, passionate about the games themselves and the fighting game scene in general. You’re in a position where your voice is regularly heard amongst the community and points you raise can and probably do affect some people’s opinions. Do you feel others should speak up more about how they truly feel and has there ever been any occasions where your comments have been taken the wrong way or you wish you hadn’t said what you did?
I don’t think people always realize the responsibility attached to doing podcasts or commentary. In my eyes, there are a number of important qualifications that one should meet to even consider it. One of the most important aspects is that you should be well versed in fighting game strategy, and the strategy of winning in general.
Being knowledgeable in multiple games is a major plus. Another important aspect is that you should have some credentials. People don’t usually want to take the advice of some random guy. Win a few tournaments and get your name out there before you consider doing this stuff. Most importantly, you should be able to articulate your point. You don’t need to be funny, or tell jokes (though that’s a plus). You simply should know how to speak clearly. If what you have to say makes sense, it will be entertaining. I honestly think that commentary/podcasting is a skill, and just like any other skill, it can be improved on. So to answer the first part of the question, though I think everyone should speak their mind freely, if it is going to be on a grand scale like a fighting game podcast or tournament commentary, they should be qualified.
As far as my comments being taken the wrong way, this is bound to happen when you have an abrasive personality like mine. I simply try my best to articulate my point as clearly as possible and remind people not to take my word as gospel.
Besides, more often than not, I’m just talking shit."

I'm really happy for you Aris, you do make Tekken interesting to me. In fact you're the reason I'm getting hype for TTT2, which will be my first tekken game ever.
BUT HURRY UP AND MAKE ANOTHER PODCAST ALREADY. SHIT MAN.
Hey Aris are you going to make a podcast about the MK9 issue?
Aris good job. Fighting games are popular and fun. There are more fighting game news sites because they are also just as competitive as sports. We need websites like yours to stay in the know. Sports Illustrated and ESPN both cover the same things too.
I think that fighting games are similar to sports, so I do somewhat agree with the part at the end. But I am personally a Canadian and I see real fighting in hockey every single hockey game. So I personally do not want that aspect of sports to translate into fighting games. I just want to play and have a good time. It is only a game, no matter how angry or into the game people, or I, get.
Hey Aris; remember when I said your interactions with the MK community would make you pull your hair in the future? Have you come to that point yet or are you just really close? How does it feel trying to argue with logic when there is none?
Look at the comments on this YT for instance:

They (the majority) don't care about having a good game and there's nothing you can do about it. They just want something they feel is cool. It's sad and it's illogical but you'll save yourself a lot of grief man.
