Future Press guides are outstandingly detailed and always involve top players, hope they continue to make fighting game guides. (they also made a Tekken 5 book with Ryan Hart and other top players though I never got it). This is the 1st english language guide I know of to contian frame data for a 3d fighter.

I really want to order this guide, but it says waiting/shipping-time 1-2 months. Honestly, no matter how good it is, in 1-2 months it wont be worth the money anymore.
At that point patches will change data, the frame data will be posted pretty much everywhere and I personally will likely have picked up the basics without the book.
If theres any way to get this book asap in like a week, tell me plz :/

You got it at Gamestop huh? Wow, I need to find a copy. It really sucks that Soul Calibur gets a great practice mode and guide every time and Tekken gets squat every time. Soul Calibur is your baby, Aris, I know, but Tekken is mine, and I am still on the fence about getting Soul Calubur. I play alot of SSF4 if I get tired of Tekken, so it is not like I need another fighting game to play; I focus almost all of my energy on Tekken, as people probably already know. I will get a copy of this guide before I buy the game, probably. I might just read the guide. It sucks that I can not just get the guide and then go to the arcade to play, I have to play online like some scrub.

I got mine at the local Gamestop as well, actually when I went to pick up SCV, I saw the book and was pissed at my gamestop guy for not calling me to let me know there actually was a book, I had been informed there would be no guide this time around. Anyways, after cursing at the guy because I was now broke and couldn't afford it, he told me he would save this last of 3 copies they received for me until I could gather the money later that day. Super worth it! I now have a huge Yoshimitsu related Soul Calibur boner! So I'm sorry and a big thanks go out to assistant manager Andrew at Gamestop in Bozeman, Montana! lol

Hi Aris. I just created a YouTube account so I could subscribe to your channel. Thanks so much for your positive feedback on the guide. We put so much work and so many hours into it during the last few months, and seeing this makes it all worthwhile.

Cool review, I've read a lot of praise about this guide which is once again, unusual for a fighter game guide, or any real competitive game guide for that matter. I was thinking of getting it, but this review convinced me. Just a bummer that I live in Belgium; have to order this book through ebay for a few bucks more...
