I like the fact that there is bigger space between the buttons and the joystick.

I've played on several Mad Catz sticks and honestly the SOUL stick feels the best. Not sure why (the parts are the same as other TEs?) but I feel most comfortable using this controller and the buttons and the stick itself seem to be much better than in my Chun TE.

Also, the material of which the panel with the art has been made is very soft and nice to touch (lol). One of my favorite controllers ever.

I bought it too! Exceptional quality. The art style is very attractive, I like the see-through look. I bought mine from my local Gamestop. They told me that they were the only Gamestop in Canada that was recieving SC5 TEs, which I thought was pretty nuts, considering the demand. Great video as always, Aris.

But in regards to the Strategy Guide, I called 3 of the Gamestops in my city, Ottawa, and they all said that they will none of the Gamestops are getting the SC5 Guide. The guy at Gamestop also told me that the Guide is made by Primagames. They said check Chapters, which is a big box store-style book store, but they did not have any and I searched "Soul Calibur" on their website and nothing.

Aris, do you think that this stick is stiffer than other sticks? As in not "soft," takes more muscle power to move the stick around? I do. It is much stiffer than my MVC3 TE.

@Forest, They all use the same JLF stick. However, Sanwa JLFs have been known to come in batches that feel slightly different from one another. Chances are that this is the case. My Soul-TE feels identical to my 5 other TE sticks when it comes to level tension. About a year ago, they put a new JLF in the T6 cab at super arcade that felt weird to me. This was the conclusion i came to at that time.

OK, because I like the looser sticks much better. Thinking of even returning it. I don't like the stiffness.
