Soul Calibur 6 - Raphael Battle Director Comment

Thanks 4Gamer for posting the Battle Director comments for Raphael in Soul Calibur 6. Once again, the Soul Calibur 6's Battle Director Oosaka (@oosaka_twt) gives a short introduction and slight tease to what the recently revealed character can do in the new game. For Raphael, we get info on a new evasive stance he has that can even be done from his Reversal Edge to catch opponents. You can find the battle director's comments on Raphael in English down below but here's a link to the Japanese source via 4Gamer:

Wielding a Rapier, Raphael is a medium to long distance fighter with plenty of thrusting and vertical attacks to overwhelm the opponent with his range and speed.

His special "Preparation" stance can now be retreated with backward movement which will go into the new "Aerial Shift" stance, this new "Aerial Shift" stance provides a solid but elegant base for Raphael to set-up his hit-and-run tactics during a battle.

There are also exclusive maneuvers that Raphael can perform that allows him to evade unblockable and break attack attempts from the opponent during the use of his attacks and Reversal Edge.

Raphael's ability to catch opponents moving towards the side can be on the weaker side but Raphael can be described as a technical character that can overcome any opponent if you make the best use of his strong points.
