Tekken 7 v3.03 patch notes

A character balance update is rolling out to once again nerf Akuma in the form of reduced meter gain. Other balance changes include adjustments to either damage or frame date for Zafina, Shaheen, Dragunov and Negan. Full patch notes aren't out but Michael Murray has posted up the balance changes early on his twitter.

SoulCalibur VI - Hilde Battle Director Comment

Hilde is back and we now have the game's Battle Director Oosaka (@oosaka_twt) give out some comments on how the character is going to be played this time around. For those who are new to her, Hilde is described as a medium to long-range fighter that uses a spear for her stronger vertical strikes and a small sword that she can pull out very fast to cover the horizontal ranges. Going by these new comments, it looks like Hilde is much more user friendly in SoulCalibur VI. The Battle Director comments come courtesty of Dengeki Online:

Gallery: SoulCalibur VI Hilde Character Reveal Screenshots

Marking the beginning of Season 2, Hilde returns to SoulCalibur VI as the first DLC character in the second Season Pass. Hilde's design for SC6 is that of a princess general, so she appears as royalty in a heavy suit of armour while fighting with a short sword and polearm. Since she hails from the kingdom of Wolfkrone, you can see the wolf motif in these new screenshots. As for when she'll be available, no word on that yet but we expect the news to arrive soon (slight hunch that it might be November 28). Hilde revealed for SoulCalibur VI Season 2

Announced live at the SoulCalibur VI World Invitational event, Hilde is returning to the stage of history in Season 2! While there was no announcement regarding when Season 2 actually starts, Hilde will be the first character in the second Season Pass for the game. Tekken 7's season 3 Winter update includes new features to improve the learning experience

Alongside the premium content coming to Tekken 7 Season Pass 3, the game will also be receiving a free update come this Winter. The Practice Mode is set to receive the new 'Punishment Training' and 'Sample Combo' modes that are designed to help newer players delve a little deeper into the fighting gameplay. Punishment Training has toggles that allow you to set the opponent to do a preset amount of moves and gives you a HUD to help you learn the punishment timings of the incoming attacks. Sample Combos is a straight-forward mini movelist of combos that you can use as a reference if you're learning how to use a character. The Replay Mode is also coming, and it blends the new features of the Punishment Training allowing for an even enhanced learning experience when you decide to watch your previous matches. Lastly, a free new customization addition in the form of an April Fools joke. Look forward to all these new features alongside the new character Leroy Smith coming later this year.
