Soul Calibur Series Character Popularity Poll

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is hosting a Soul Calibur series popularity vote on the official SoulCalibur Facebook page and they want the player's opinions on which character from the series is the most popular. The poll which was recently open gives everyone the chance to think over and vote for their characters from now until the end of this month (May 31st). It should go without saying that to participate in the vote, you need to have a Facebook account to send your player feedback which ends up in Bandai Namco as player research data. Alongside the poll, the Facebook page also teases that Project Soul is preparing something huge for the series so this may well be worth keeping an eye on if you're a fan of the series. And hopefully it's something not related to Lost Swords.

Old School Japanese Soul Calibur 3on3 Tournament Videos

Payopayo8484 uploaded a whole bunch of Soul Calibur 1 arcade tournament footage recently and they're a really cool look into what that game was like back in the years of 1999 ~ 2000 in Japan. FUG was an absolute monster with that Yoshimitsu back in those days. The video quality is pretty low but it's still good for viewing. Thanks goes to APCR for the heads-up.

POKKEN TOURNAMENT Announced, Being worked on by Bandai Namco

Just recently announced over a special 'Shocking Pokemon Announcement' livestream on niconico, Bandai Namco and the Pokémon Company is collaborating to create a new game titled 'POKKEN TOURNAMENT' which brings the world of Pokemon to the 3D fighting game genre. Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada and Soul Calibur series main programmer Masaaki Hoshino are both attached and working on the project. The game is currently announced as an arcade game releasing in 2015.

SCLS: Cervantes "Great Pirate Resurrected" Trailer

Bandai Namco today announces and reveals Cervantes for the free-to-play SoulCalibur title 'Soul Calibur Lost Swords' on the PlayStation Network. An update was pushed out for the game and there is an unlock event for Cervantes currently going on for those keen on unlocking him. The announcement today comes with some screenshots, an introduction trailer and a small bio for Cervantes.

SCLS: Character Introduction Trailer for Patroklos

A 'new' character for Soul Calibur: Lost Swords announced - "Patroklos" from Soul Calibur 5. His addition to the roster announcement comes with news on a new quest for the free-2-play game which you can unlock Patroklos & Hilde and potentially earn a new set of armor dubbed the ''Angel Armor." The quest will start on the 28th of May at 4PM this month and will last until the 11th of June next month (all JST). You can see more images of Patroklos or the Angel Armor set below.
