Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable featuring Harada and Okubo on August 1

A Roundtable discussion stream featuring leading Japanese fighting game figures and producers is now scheduled for the 1st of August. Staff from Arc System Works, Arika, SNK, Capcom, Koei Tecmo and Bandai Namco will come together to discuss the latest happenings in the community and their games. Katsuhiro Harada and Motohiro Okubo are both confirmed for attendence and are said to present the latest news on both the Tekken and SoulCalibur series during the broadcast. The stream is planned to go live next Saturday with an early start of 9AM Japan time.

Japanese SoulCalibur VI Tier List for Season 2

EVO Japan is this weekend and for the occasion, the Dengeki writer Kurita Oyakata compiled his and other player's thoughts on a tierlist for Season 2 of SoulCalibur 6. I have to say, this is kind of a hard game to make a good tier list for with loads of differing opinions between regions but this Japanese tier list makes a decent case for the base of a current list. At the time of writing, this list was made just before EVO Japan and comes with some comments on each individual placements. Soul Calibur 6 - Developer Q&A & Amy News Live Stream on March 11

We're getting more news on Soul Calibur 6's next DLC character—Amy—this next monday as revealed on the Japanese gaming publication Dengeki Online. Details are up for a live stream session featuring the Soul Calibur 6 dev team, and they'll be taking the time to sit down and answer questions from the fans and keep everyone up to date on current developments. We might even find out about a release date for Amy soon but no guarantees, you'll have to tune into the stream to find out. The YouTube stream will go live on March 11, at 7 PM Japan time.

Summary of Project Soul Talk Event from Evo Japan

A Project Soul Talk Event took place during Evo Japan and the dev team behind Soul Calibur 6 took the opportunity to sit down and chat with the community directly. There were no streams for the discussion but we have reports and photos from the event detailing everything that got mentioned. Topics included were changes coming to the online and matchmaking, QOL improvements, further game content drops and several other stuff.
