The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 Announced

The big announcement is here, Bandai Namco have announced that they're organising 'THE KING OF IRON FIST TOURNAMENT 2015.' This is a largescale tournament that they are organising with about 80,000 dollars worth of prizes to the contestants. The game played in this tournament is Tekken 7 and the tournament is to be held later this year. The trailer for the announcement of this tournament is now available for viewing and right now all that we know are that competitors from 'East Asia' and the 'globe' will be competing. We'll have to see soon on what they plan to fully do. For now, you can catch the announcement trailer below.

Tekken 7 - Arcade Online Update H06 Complete Changelist

UPDATE: Michael Murray just informed us that this will be the version used at Evo 2015!

Tekken 7 is getting yet another Arcade online update titled 'H06' today in Japanese and Korean arcades and this again brings a new wave of character balancing to the game. The main changes listed in this version was that 16th DAN (Vanquisher I think?) and upwards ranking system was adjusted and that floor break combo damage was changed but the character balance changes are what's really most interesting. Jack-7 of course got a whole slew of adjustments and is probably fair this time around. I'm not 100% sure but this version of the game will probably be the version played at EVO 2015 this month. Provided something doesn't go horribly wrong. H06 complete notes in Japanese can be found here and I've translated it all below it.

TTT2: Tekken Heat Tournament Archive

UPDATE: YouTube archives of the event is now up on the Tekken Milano YouTube channel! I've embedded the playlist of the matches below.

Tekken Milano recently streamed an Italian tournament that featured one of Japan's legendary players @Tissuemon. It ran a similar format to Strong Style where everyone competed in group stages of FT2 bouts before being seeded in 32 bracket FT3 double elimination bracket. The tournament did a great job showcasing European tekken players with a variety of characters. Can these results be a hint at what to expect for Ultimate Tournament XVI?

Namco announce $30k Bonus Pot to Tekken 7 @ EVO2K15 + Lili/Eliza T-Shirt

Today, Namco announced $30,000 a bonus pot for Tekken 7 at EVO along with T-shirts with an artwork of Lili and Eliza by the same artist as the Devil Asuka design in last year's EVO shirt. It's nice of Namco to support T7, but it is blatantly unfair to give such a reward to a competition where 97% of the competitors don't have a chance against the Japanese who've had months of experience.
