Tekken 7 - Gigas Movelist Rundown

Korea recently updated with Gigas and Yoshimitsu in arcades so I can now complete the next rundown. So let's start with what we know about Gigas. He's a big red hulking character with long tubing flailing around taking a rather large portion of the screen, especially when there's 2 Gigas on screen. Most of the movelist is reminiscent of Marduk's movelist but there's sizable adjustments to it with new stances like the Goliath run and several of his own new moves. Once again for this rundown, I'll be using the character movelist video done by Game Plaza Gao and the official movelist on the Korean tekken-net website.

    Mid - Unsafe on block and jumping status.

  • Iron Breaker

    High, high - 10f knockdown punisher but it's launch punishable on block.

  • Double Gimlet

    High, high

  • Left Wrench Kick

    Mid - 14f start-up. Can also be done with ws+3.

  • Right Wrench Kick


  • Mad Rampage

    High, high, mid - Easy knockdown counter move but it's mainly used in combos.

  • [SCREW] Double Monster Hook

    High, high - Combo starter and also used in combos.

  • Monster Axe

    High, mid.

  • Crazy Knuckle Combo

    Mid, mid - The move can be charged.

  • Crazy Knuckle Combo to Goliath

    Mid, mid, stance - Just hold forward after the attack.

  • Burring Reamer

    Mid - This move is punishable on block by itself but has huge pushback.


  • Burring Reamer to Goliath

    Mid, stance - Hold forward after the attack to enter Goliath stance. Moves done in Goliath stance from here can't be interrupted.

  • Quick Head-Butt


  • Bulldozer Charge

    (On Counter Hit)

    High, attack throw.

  • Goliath


  • Metal Crusher



  • Hell Crusher


    High unblockable.

  • Hazardous Hook

    Mid - 14f start-up basic mid poke.

  • [SCREW]  Double Hook Reactor

    Mid, mid - 15f start-up, combos on counter hit.

  • Vice Grip Hammer Rush

    Mid, mid, high - Mainly used in combos.

  • Nail Gun

    Mid, mid - Mainly used in combos at the wall.

  • Excavator

    Mid, mid, mid - Mainly used in combos.

  • Sledgehammer

    Mid - His go to 15f start-up launcher. Think of this as his hopkick I guess. Has long reach.

  • Ignition Coil

    Low, mid - Great low poke with a mid follow-up. Relatively low risk to throw out.

  • [POWER CRUSH] Repelling Blast


  • [POWER CRUSH] Enraged Howl


  • End Mill

    Low - Low attack that's plus on hit but launch punishable on block.

  • Shin Breaker

    Low - Another low attack that's plus frames on hit but launch punishable on block.


  • Chisel Kick

    Low - Low damaging low attack but fast start-up.

  • Fork Lift

    Mid - Small combo starter. Can follow up with an attack after the opponent flops to the ground.

  • Fracturing Upper

    Mid - Great launching whiff punisher but launch punishable on block.

  • Crazy Knuckle

    Mid - The 2nd part of his f+3,2 move on it's own.

    Mid, stance.

  • Deadly Canon


  • Heavy Stomp

    Mid - This move hits grounded opponents.


  • Rusty Nail


  • Jumping Elbow



  • Staple Knee

    Mid - Launches on counter hit and is difficult to whiff punish.


  • Giant Press



  • Crushing Stomp


  • Unchained Upper

    Mid - Long range knockdown mid attack. Punishable on block.


  • Dashing Knee

  • [HOMING] Vice Grip Hammer

    Mid, high - First hit is homing but unsafe on block. 2nd hit is high but safe on block. You can stop at just the first part but there's a high risk to that.

  • Charging Tackle

    Mid - Plus frames on block and useful mid attack.


  • Knocking Shoulder

    while standing:

    Mid - 11f start-up.

  • Savage Knee

    while standing:

    Mid, mid - 15f start-up.

  • Savage Reamer

    while standing:

    Mid, mid.

  • Savage Reamer to Goliath

    while standing:

    Mid, mid, stance.

  • Spike Knee

    while standing:

    Mid - 13f start-up and can follow-up with an attack on counter hit. Can be punished by certain characters on block.

  • Brush Cutter

    while in crouch:

    Low - Small combo starter that's launch punishable on block.

  • Ground Sweeper

    while grounded:


  • Ground Striker

    while grounded:


  • 10-Hit Combo

    Mid, mid, high, high, mid, low, mid, mid, mid, mid.

  • Hydraulic Lift


    Throw - Broken with either 1 or 2.

  • Trash Compactor


    Throw - Broken with either 1 or 2.

  • Outrage

    On opponent's left side: (or )

    Throw - Broken with 1.
  • Amazing Impact

    On opponent's right side: (or )

    Throw - Broken with 2.
  • Skull Smasher

    On opponent's backside: (or )

    Throw - Cannot be broken.

  • Overkill


    Throw - Broken with 1+2, does huge damage if the opponent is wallsplatted with the throw.
