Soul Calibur 6 Battle Prologue in Nakano Event on October 14

A pre-release double elimination tournament for Soul Calibur 6 is taking place later today in Tokyo, Japan. The 'Battle Prologue in Nakano' event is an official Bandai Namco run tournament at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere venue and over 100 players have already signed up to battle it out. You can expect to see a lot of competitive SC6 action happening with the event being streamed live on both YouTube and the SoulCalibur Twitch channel for everyone to watch. For people planning on being there at the venue, there's going to be cosplayers, art galleries, merchandise prizes and demo builds of the game present to get you all excited for Soul Calibur 6 right before it comes out later this week. Random Team Battle Event:

A battle in which the players present at the venue will be randomly drafted into one of two teams (Red vs Blue team). Both teams battle each other one by one 'Pokemon' style until one of the two teams run out of players.

Members from the Soul Calibur 6 development team will be participating and doing gameplay lectures during the Team battle. Presents for all players on the winning team is being planned on.

SoulCalibur VI Demos:

A single console demo build is being provided where people can sit down and play the story modes from the game in 15 minute sessions. 3 other Versus Battle demos is also being provided.

Nightmare-kun Rock, Paper, Scissor Tournament:

Enter a rock, paper, scissor contest with the 'Nightmare-kun' cosplayer! Earn a free merchandise gift if you manage to win. After the tournament, an award ceremony for the winner is planned.
