TTT2: Shaheen Tournament Top 16 Archive

Although a massive European Tournament with Lionz Den 2 and a massive North American tournament with Final Round 18 coming up, a couple of days ago Saudi Arabia's biggest Tekken tournament was held called "Shaheen Tournament" celebrating the latest Tekken character of their same nationality. FightingMachineVs took care of the top 16 stream. There was a ton of character diversity in this tournament displaying solid TTT2 skill with approximately $1,500 up for grabs. The matches were a ton of fun to spectate and I recommend everyone to check them out.

Tekken 7 - New Gameplay Images of Shaheen

Courtesy of Famitsu! Shaheen's gameplay style is considered 'unique' on the Famitsu page. He has something similiar to a Mist Step which is done by pressing d/f, d/f which will make Shaheen go go low like a tackle stance and move towards the opponent. If you collide with the opponent, Shaheen will transition to a throw attack. Lucky Chloe's gameplay concept is based around being flashy and a sense of rhythm to her inputs. Her stronger attacks will require timed input presses to successfully perform in which case, she gets more flashy by doing more kinds of twirls and flips. You can expect to see both of these new characters in action at this weekend's Japan Amusement Expo.

Official Tekken 7 Website Launches (in Japanese only)

Earlier today the official Tekken twitter account linked their new official website anticipating the release of Tekken 7 in around 2 weeks. Currently the webiste is under construction and the only things listed are the various arcade centers in Tokyo that are probably going to get Tekken 7. The other thing is that the character section of the website is open and what shows is probably the final roster for release. The things that are listed are a couple of details I don't understand in Japanese along with the respecitive Power Crush move notation along with the Rage Art Notation, including the 2 newer characters whom we didn't get to see playable yet.
