Update Notice of Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.11 Coming January 2019

SC6 already got the 1.10 update but the Soul Calibur team is still focusing on continuing the ongoing effort to improve the game. Version 1.11 is expected to arrive sometime in January after New Years and it is bringing it's own set of gameplay bug fixes and balance change. The update list was posted by the game's producer Motohiro Okubo himself but it is currently incomplete so there's potentially more stuff that might be getting changed soon. The update is a month out from now but this is a simple heads-up that it is coming and that you should probably forward any bugs you find in the game over to Okubo-san.

Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.10 Update is Out Now

Soul Calibur 6 had a bit of a bumpy road from it's launch but the first major patch for the game is out right now to help alleviate gameplay issues. Bugs in the Network and Character Creation modes, load times on the Xbox One, AZERTY keyboard support and a big balancing wave are all included in this particular update. The balance changes sees the entire cast get changes in some way or another so check out the included PDF to see what exactly got changed with your character. The update is live on Steam at least and it weighs in at 5.9 GB but it should be available to download on all platforms on the day of December 17th wherever you are.

2B from NieR: Automata to be Available in Soul Calibur 6 on December 18

Revealed back at the end of October, the guest fighter from NieR:Automata finally gets a release date. Everyone that owns the Soul Calibur 6 Deluxe Edition or Season Pass will be able to download the new guest character starting next week on December 18th. She immediatly follows the Version 1.10 update which squashes many of the bugs in the game and sees a big balancing wave made to the roster.

Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.02 Update Fixes Infinite Meter, Unblockable Okizeme & Rank Bugs

A new notice on the Soul Calibur 6 website is up and it details all the changes coming to the game in the Version 1.02 update. This update mainly targets the biggest bug out right now which is Voldo being able to activate Meter Mechanics for free while back turned. The update is also fixing Geralt and Tira's unblockable attacks having more 'range' than intended under certain circumstances which sounds like they're fixing the Ukemi traps they have with those moves. Soul Calibur 6 - DLC Character 2B Gameplay Stream Archive

Edit: Wait, never mind. The video finished processing and the entire thing is now archived properly. Go to the 16 and 40 minute mark in the VOD to see the new 2B gameplay.

YouTube live is weird, the Dengeki PlayStation stream finished but it looks like it only archived the last two hours. It's still good to watch though since most of the notable 2B gameplay bits are still there in the beginning of the archive. The other stuff cut out were just minor introductions and info like the Nier creation parts which I have images of down below for anyone that missed them. For a quick character impression, she seems kind of similar to Azwel mixed with some Noctis. All the perverts out there will glad happy to know she can blow her own skirt off with her second Critical Edge that's available at low health so you know she's worth the Season Pass money. Despite looking pretty far along in the gameplay, Okubo mentioned that they're still fine-tuning the character so please wait a little longer for the official announcement of 2B's release date for Soul Calibur 6.
