Soul Calibur 6 Version 1.02 Update Fixes Infinite Meter, Unblockable Okizeme & Rank Bugs

A new notice on the Soul Calibur 6 website is up and it details all the changes coming to the game in the Version 1.02 update. This update mainly targets the biggest bug out right now which is Voldo being able to activate Meter Mechanics for free while back turned. The update is also fixing Geralt and Tira's unblockable attacks having more 'range' than intended under certain circumstances which sounds like they're fixing the Ukemi traps they have with those moves. I have all the patch notes in English down below but you can see the notes at the original source over on the SC6 official Japanese web page:

Tekken 7 Online Status Update for Matchmaking Issues after Version 1.12

After almost a week and a half since the Noctis update to Tekken 7 came out, the Tekken team finally acknowledges the broken online matchmaking from the update. Version 1.12 which was said to bring online adjustments on top of the DLC guest character inclusion had in effect caused waiting times in Tekken 7 to take far longer or worse, resulted in players not being able to find any matches at all. The tip to get around that which was being passed around was to reset the search by turning off the game and killing the game process in task manager before hopping back in again. The status update on these issues mention that they plan to change the online servers settings for Tekken 7 on PS4. They're still investigating issues with the Steam version of the game but also mention that they're planning a patch to hopefully solve these issues. You can find the status update tweets over on the Tekken Project account.

Tekken 7 Pre-Launch Version Network Related Lag & Bugs

Update: Added another video and tweet to this piece.

Tekken 7 came out in Japanese arcades and there's been a huge amount of information on it slowly trickling out. The most funniest bits to hear about the game relates to the game's online functionality since for the time being, you're forced to play online if you want to play another person. Extreme cases of in-game lag have been taped with one really bad case of the game just straight up freezing on the players. There's also some slight lag being reported from players in different parts of Japan but I guess the purpose of a 'pre-launch' version of the game is to test the online connection quality. I imagine this might be a frustrating experience should you be a paying patron of an arcade but these should be ironed out in the game's full launch version coming in March.

Red Life Destroying Glitch Discovered for King

Perfect Input's Ortega has found another interesting bug in TTT2. When King ends a combo with a jab into the crouch throw after the bound, the game resets the tag cancel property and takes away the entire red bar. You can see this exhibited in the online match videos recorded above.
