Legends Cup #5: East Edition | Online Tekken 7 Team Tournament with $2,000 Prize Pool

The stakes were raised at Legends Cup #5, an online US Tekken 7 team tournament held earlier this week when the community stepped in to pitch a prize pool of over $2000. This east coast centric event was free-to-enter and featured players like Pokchop, Mazen, DoomedDanny, ATLabstract and a bunch more battling out for that large slice of crowdfunded pie. LC5 was a collaboration effort between Scrub Dojo and TKNHouse eSports with Icege & Sylvanharp on commentary so enjoy over 5 hours of chaotic high stakes online Tekken. The tournament was hosted by AvgVideogameJoe so you can find the VOD over on his Twitch page. For those on the west coast, the next Legends Cup #5 is the west edition and is scheduled for Sunday, May 10th.

Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution to end network services March 26, 2020

After three years of operation in the arcade sector, Bandai Namco is pulling the plug on T7FR's network service early next year. Arcades that operate cabinets of the game but did not buy the Round 2 USB upgrade are to be taken offline disabling the use of Banapassport cards and certain online game functionality. The game will still be playable offline but features like player and ranking data, character customization and online match-making will no longer be available come March 26, 2020. The Round 2 version of the game on the other hand, is set to receive a big content update in Spring of 2020. Full details on T7FR's network termination can be found on the notice posted to the Tekken-Official website:

Soul Calibur 6 Players Hit with Online Bans Due to Bug in Version 1.10

Update #2: Version 1.10.1 of Soul Calibur 6 is now out on Steam with 2B playable. Enjoy, this version is currently the latest with playable 2B and fixes all the online issues and bugs.

Update: Soul Calibur 6 on Steam has now been reverted to the previous 1.02 version due to the bug. If you had not downloaded 1.10, you're game will work as usual. Players that were on version 1.10 will now be prompted to re-download files to revert the game version.

A lot of reports are coming in from players on the PC version of Soul Calibur 6 that they are getting randomly banned. It's being tossed around that accessing any of the online modes after the 1.10 Update causes players to be hit with a ban message. The bug is also said to be affecting the use of any online functions at all like accessing the leaderboards or turning on the standby feature in the training mode. We've already heard that the dev team are already aware of this fatal bug but for the time being, keep the game offline to avoid any issues until a fix is out.
