Harada Teases 'Great Idea' for Corpse Kicking in T7 FR

Update: Correction added. When I initially wrote this up, I presumed that since Harada brought up both sides for corpse kicking that he meant the new method would be one that one please both sides. This was not the case. He just stated that there's a new ('画期的' was used to describe it.) structure in place put into T7 FR for corpse kicking after hearing both the majority and minority side's opinion on the matter. You'll still have to wait for T7 FR to see what it is. Apologies for the misreport.

'死体蹴り' for those who don't know is the act of continually beating or attacking an opponent even after you've won. It's translated literally as 'Corpse Kicking' so the concept is pretty much beating a dead player. In Japanese gaming culture, there are people that identify this behavior as a form of bad manners and will take offense towards this. This does take serious form in fighting games over there since people do get heavily invested in matches. The Tekken games has been having this issue too for a while now since after the opponent was defeated, there was time to sneak in extra attacks before the start of the next round. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 completely avoided this issue by no longer allowing any kind of attack after the match was over (unless they were wearing certain custom items.) This in return, has displeased those that missed the chance to do anything like a taunt or whatever after a win. After dumping his thoughts and weighing the pros & cons for corpse kicking, he briefly teased that a new structure is put in T7 FR for corpse kicking. Complete Batch of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Images in High Quality

These are the remaining batch of direct feed images that were released last week on the Tekken official Facebook page. For some reason, they didn't initially upload every promotional image onto Facebook and at it's original Full 1080p quality. I grabbed all the original quality images from the Bandai Namco Entertainment press site and uploaded it all below. They're resized again to fit the page but you can right click and save them to have them in their full HDness. Warning for those on slower internet connections, it might take you awhile to load all the images.

Direct Feed Screenshots of New Defaults and Stages

UPDATE (Wonkey): Added all the images below this post for those who can't access the Facebook page. All the images are original size but resized to 645 px to fit the page. Right click -> View Image or saving the images will keep the original size. Also maybe it's just me but some of these images look to have some kind of film grain and slight chromatic aberration added in. Not sure if indicative of final graphical quality.

Along with the official trailer released yesterday, Namco also officially revealed some direct feed screenshots of the 7 characters that have new default outfits oon their official facebook page. And yes, Harada confirmed that the new attires worn during the KOIF2015 championship trailer are indeed default and not customizations. A lot of people have been asking for this a long time and it's great to see our wishes finally being answered.  The images are too big to display on this article so be sure to view them on this page.

Thanks to GrayFoxPL for the link.

The new update is dubbed 'TEKKEN 7 FATED RETRIBUTION' and features new character additions, graphics update, new character costumes and a guest character: Akuma from the Street Fighter series. This comes with big surprise because it adds a lot of questions since Akuma's inclusion into the roster is heavily related to the Tekken 7 story.
