Official 1080p/60fps YouTube Uploads Of Lucky Chloe and New Tekken 7 Trailer

It took a while but Bandai Namco have just uploaded the official 1080p/60fps YouTube version of the trailers recently revealed during the 20th Anniversary event in Japan this past weekend. I believe you'll still need Chrome to watch the footage in 60fps but If you don't want that then I guess you can try downloading the videos to your PC (JDownloader2 supports it) and watching it in full HD. Enjoy the footage from the official Tekken YouTube channel.

To all of the thundercunts bashing Harada, the game and new characters, please remove yourself from the Tekken community and go play something that will instigate your inner gayness to grow further and make you the fat unwashed-dicks suckers you are. You faggots don't deserve this game. Go play WWE or UFC LMAO.

Tekken 7 will make all other fighting games irrelevant! Anyone in the FGC just knows this!

The graphics aren't too impressive is you ask me. It looks like some cheap cell-shading effect. Not next-gen at all. While Mortal Kombat X is getting more and more serious, darker, better balanced, interesting characters and concept, while pushing the graphics to true next gen, Tekken is getting a new pink lolli-cutsie catgirl with the a high-pitched voice and phrases that makes you wanna commit suicide.

And this Dicky McDick fella is absolutely right. *roll eyes*. We must not call mr. Harada-san a cunt. Remember, this is the same man who gave us flying Ganryus when we asked for a deep tutorial mode for TTT2. This is the same man responsible for customizations like Heihachi in man-thongs and cake for hats and traficsignal as backpacks. How can we call such a smart man a cunt? Mr. Harada-san (peace be upon his glorious soul) is a smart decisionmaker and knows what true Tekkenplayers want and how to sell a game.

How many do you think bought TTT2 when they saw Heihachi in man-thong or that you could throw pies at the opponents face? Millions I bet. Hundreds of millions!

So there you have it, folks! It's retarded people like Dicky McDick who is responsible for making Harada think this is what Tekken needs. It's people like him who like these character and enjoy the path Tekken is taking. He actually think Chloe is a good addition to T7. Holy crap!

Lucky Chloe makes me wanna puke.
I hope that the final version of this game will still be mindblowing. I mean, the trailers sure don't seem like that, nearly everything is reused: The characters poses pre- and postfight, their voice acting, nearly all costumes, AND LAW'S d2,3 is still unsafe (ignore the latter).
Hopefully this is all just show and they will put a genius game in the arcades in february/march.

I thought Heihachi in a man-thong was enough to get you closet campers to realise how much dicks you love.

Please Harada make a buff Korean handsome well groomed penis. I'd play the shit out of that character. #nohomo

Tekken is my 2nd most favourited game after Battlefield, but it is sad that Cunty McCunt's opinions are sometimes a bit true. Before Lucky Chloe was relevated, I was happy Tekken hasn't got any animal characters and I thought it just will get more serious and darker as it seemed in the first trailers, but then I was shocked in a negative way. I just do not like Lucky Chloe. Harada should remove her from Tekken 7 or at least revamp her. I would tolerate her a bit, when she doesn't wear any cat paws and this tail. Her voice is annoying and I hope she won't be just a fucking spam character. The another problem of Tekken is in a bad humour taste... It went terribly wrong since Tekken 5 and as well as customization. I admit customization in Tekken is the best or at least the largest, but why are many items so fucking stupid? Why even core chars were getting terribly ridiculous?

The truth is Tekken is a Japanese game, so many Western player like me wouldn't appreciate some things Harada would be happy when we do, but he should know the game must be more serious with darker story and he should prioritize Western players more... When I write about T7 and respectively about gameplay, graphics, Rage Arts, Power Crushers, motion blur effects, story, stages, costumes, the actual amount and selection of chars with an exception of Lucky Chloe as I wrote above (I think there should be a bit more SERIOUS returning and new chars, but the amount shouldn't be too large in my opinion), so then I think it's FANTASTIC, but after relevation of Lucky Chloe I'm afraid of the same things that started to get terribly wrong since Tekken 5, so I'm afraid of stupid humour in cinematics, stupidly ridicuculous chars as Lucky Chloe and some/many items in customization (For example I saw a video with strange wings on a char, I think it was Claudio and I think there isn't need of it...).

In the end of my comment I want to write I'm not an American as many players started to think only Americans don't like Lucky Chloe. I also don't think there is a need for a well-muscled skinhead char as Harada was joking. I'm an European and I'm an active Tekken player... I played nearly all the Tekken games and when I can say gameplay, graphics, story, Rage Arts, Power Crushers and some other things in T7 are REALLY FANTASTIC, then I also want THE MOST SERIOUS TEKKEN GAME, this Tekken game should be the best as Harada and everybody wants to...

Either way, this will most likely be the last Tekken game. At least the last game made by the same people. It seems like they're just completely out of ideas and grasping for straws. I almost feel bad calling it a Tekken game. Remember when Tekken was spearheading the general deretardization of fighting games? Sidestepping, active hit detection, fluid movement, no projectiles, intuitive commands, etc.? To go from that, from original and controversial mechanics that reward skill, to borrowing brain dead bullshit from SF that panders to spammers and idiots, like armor moves and rage arts, is just sad.

It's not like there's no more room for innovation as far as mechanics go. The throwing system in particular has stayed exactly the same since like T3? Actually, since the first Tekken, I think? Why not experiment with that instead? A counterthrow system would be great. Doing damage when you break a throw would also be interesting and worth looking into. Or abandoning the uniform damage on standard throws. Or making it so that counterthrowing, that is to say when you throw someone while they're attacking and they have no chance of escaping, does way less damage, or more damage? I don't know. All of these are indubitably more exciting and original than literally borrowing retarded mechanics from SF. Or fuck me, just take the armor move concept and make it not terrible. Make certain moves have limited auto parry properties, like Bruce's f,f+2, provided a just frame input is executed. There are PLENTY of things you could change to reshuffle the game that do not involve borrowing dumb shit from SF. Like all the characters that have parries and reversals, try to give their shit a special animation and extra damage whenever they reverse a launcher, provided it's reversible in the first place, of course. That would motivate people to stop hogging launchers AND it would motivate people to learn reversing, get faster reflexes and play on reaction. Again, way more interesting than herp derp armor moves. You could even try and go back to the grossly uneven damage output from T3. It would basically rehabilitate characters like Paul and Nina without having to do anything to their movelists.

Seriously, all of these beat the hell out of herp moves and derp arts.

And holy shit, please, the new character designs are disgusting. They have been disgusting since T6 but now it's just pure distilled AIDS. I don't even care that Chloe is a woman, I hate her for the same reason I hate Alisa, Bob and Lars. Their styles are non-specific, generic, boring, let's take all the spare moves off the cutting room floor and haphazardly botch them together in ROBOT-GRILL 9000, a zany-looking fat man, some guy that's Heihachi's relative but he's half Swedish or some shit for some bizarre reason and now, an anime character. It's bullshit. I mean, Miguel and Zafina are great. They both have their own styles and their movelists look internally consistent and aesthetically pleasing for the most part. But this is horseshit. Those other 2 fucks seem to be just as bad too.

Like holy fuck can we be real? This is dull as fuck. Why not make a ripped Amazon-looking woman, as tall as Marduk, veiny thighs, dianabol freak, Norse as fuck, winged helmet, T3 Paul-style powerhose of doom? Call her HELGA. What? It would be refreshing, daring, badass AND utterly hilarious in a non-ironic, non-faggy way. Flying knees from across the screen and 13f knucklebombs that hit grounded. YES!

Man, I was gonna write some more shit but I got depressed thinking about how bad T7 will be. RIP on Tekken...

we can save the hating for when the game comes out and we play it.

Watching all these people write novels full of tears is hilarious. You just got a super serious game called TTT2 and it almost killed the series.

The hardcore tekken fan base is getting too old and can no longer sustain the franchise. Younger gamers never played Tekken 3 and have no loyalty to the series. They want to play games that are fresh, flashy and fun, not bloated with 20 years of stagnated mechanics and movelists.

The people who shit on Street Fighter seem to completely blind to the fact that it is one of the most competitive games on the planet, it gets bigger and bigger every year, and Capcom continues to invest more money into the competitive scene for a 5 year old game.

Supers, armor moves, and yes even Chloe are attempts to appeal to younger and untapped audiences which Tekken needs in order to thrive. A lot of Tekken fans need to look past the surface aesthetics and look the the bigger picture/market conditions for fighting games.

@ANCN

So make another game then? The only possible outcome of Namco sullying the Tekken franchise in this manner is its untimely end.

Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:48 PM | Unregistered Commenterdeath

Its must be nice living in your little bubble world where real world market conditions are irrelevant when making design and business decisions.

Creating a new fighting game from the ground up is way more risky and expensive when they can instead innovate the existing franchise.

And I will ask you again - if 'serious mode' Tekken is amazing, why is TTT2 dead while and OLDER game SF4 is getting bigger every year?

I freaking love Lucky Chloe. I still haven't seen my bears confirmed for T7 but if they're really not in it i won't be too heartbroken because at least Lucky Chloe is there <3

@ the cheese- haha funny
@ ANCN- you nailed it. TTT2 was a flop. Its time for change. And tekken needs to focus on the newer generation.

I'm gonna play the new characters because at least their animations are all brand new. It's sad, I love Heihachi but they never update the animations for moves he's had since Tekken 1. I guess the same could be said about a lot of characters. Anyways looking forward to more news after seeing the cool new stages.
