Gallery - Soul Calibur 6 2B Guest Character Reveal Screenshots

Update: Over 100 new screenshots of 2B from Soul Calibur 6 have now been added to this gallery!

The world of Souls and Swords is getting another guest character in 2B from NieR: Automata so here is the accompanying gallery of gameplay images from Soul Calibur 6. She doesn't have a release date yet but, 2B is a playable DLC character that is part of the SC6's season pass and the way she's listed as DLC2 right after Tira is probably our sign that she is probably expected to release sooner rather than later. Like in the game she comes from, 2B fights with a combination of her swords, spear and Pod 042 assistant that allows her to handle all kinds of battle. Once again, the gameplay images can be all found below and here's the link train to the previous batch of Soul Calibur 6 gameplay screenshots:

Input Lag Testing for Soul Calibur 6 Finds Unstable Lag Spikes During Gameplay

The input lag testing results are in, we've got some bad news here. From the testings done by both Noodalls and WydD, they both found that Soul Calibur 6 has on average; around 4 to 5 frames of input lag when playing on the PlayStation 4. That puts SC6 on the laggier side when compared to other fighting games from this generation of consoles. The even bigger finding across both results was an unstable level of fluctuations in between the testing which is leading to quite a notable level of variance in the results. To put that into easier words, Soul Calibur 6 was found to have random input lag spikes during regular gameplay. It's currently being thought that the instability is occurring randomly so hopefully Bandai Namco quickly fixes this issue like how they handled the input lag with Tekken 7. Thanks goes to both Noodalls and WydD for the testing, you can find more info on their set-ups and testing over on their Twitter pages:

PC Soul Calibur 6 - Remove Background Blur by Disabling Depth of Field

Image resized on the page, click here to see it in full.

As pretty as Soul Calibur 6 can be on the PC, the Depth of Field effect used in the game is applied pretty heavily smearing all the graphical details in the background. Luckily for everyone, there's a simple but easy way to adjust the background smear by toggling the Depth of Field off while leaving all the other graphical settings as normal. Here's a quick guide on how to do it, it's written as if you have the game running on max settings.
