Count it, FIVE sponsors have now taken the Japanese Pro Tekken team of Nobi, Yuu & Take under their wing(s). The team were previously enlisted under Team Yamasa (the company involved with creating Tekken related Pachislot machines) and making their ways to multiple Tekken World Tour tournament events overseas such as Evo 2017, REV Major and TWT Korean Major. The new sponsorships with Level ∞, AVerMedia, AKRACING & ZOWIE now presents a crop of heavily pro-gaming related brands attached to their name.

Korean Player Jeondding is Representing r/Kappa at Manila Cup 2017

Recently on r/Kappa's list of agendas was deciding which fighting game player to sponsor for the upcoming Manila Cup event. The aggregated list of players put forward by the subreddit's users ended up with Jeondding, 310, Daru Ino, Dora, 200won, LowHigh, Kedako, Isamu and Qudans. r/Kappa decided on sending two players from that list of players and the results of the votes saw 310 and Jeondding with most of the final votes. Both of those two players are now set to be repping r/Kappa at Manila Cup which is taking place in Quezon City, Philippines on September 10 and 11. You can look forward to seeing the Tekken Top 8 EVO 2017 finalist get his Lucky Chloe/Eddy/Abs out there over at the tournament.

Brazilian 'New Master' team picks up Sapito, will be going to TXT 2016

The 'New Master' team today announces that they've sponsored the Peruvian Tekken player Sapito. You may remember this Xiaoyu / Lei player after beating out Korea's own top player Saint in a close Tekken Tag Tournament 2 grand finals set to win the Tekken Collision event. The New Master team for those who don't remember is a Brazilian fighting game team set to improve the Latin American scene by enlisting players from the region and they've previously acquired El Negro from Venezuela and Leandro Foloni for their Tekken side. As part of their announcement for picking up the new player, Sapito is now confirmed to be attending the Tekken Extreme Tournament 2016 event on behalf of the team later this year. New Brazilian Fighting Game Team 'New Master' Enlists Tekken Players

The 'New Master' team is a new iniative from the Latin Americas fighting game community that is assembling players for sponsorship. It's run by the figurehead behind the recent Brazilian New Master tournament which hopes to succeed and take in more fighting game players under it's wing. TTT2 FR19 runner-up El Negro Piripicho from Venezuela and Leandro Foloni from Brazil are currently the first players to be enlisted under this team and you might see their faces in the near future at your near-by tournament. AK Acquires New Sponsorship, Might Go to EVO Depending on SEA Major Performance

Alexandre “AK” Laverez - the so called 'child Tekken prodigy' that you may remember after getting 3rd in last year's Global Championships has recently gotten sponsored by the SMM Philippines Multimedia company. With this sponsorship, he's gotten a free, all-expenses-paid trip to SEA Major 2014 which is being held in Singapore on the 20th of June which is roughly a month away. Depending on how he performs in that tournament, the sponsorship announcement teases that AK may also earn himself a trip to EVO 2014 in Las Vegas potentially adding to the international competition that are said to be attending EVO such as AO (JP), Chikurin (JP) & BooK (TH).
