A great and enlightening video interview featuring both Qudans and Jeondding from Korea has come forward from Core-A Gaming. Gerald Lee sits down with both players to find out about their beginnings with Tekken and how they got to where they are now. The interview here make for a nice retrospective piece on these legends as they stroll down memory lane to some notable highlights in Tekken tournaments. Eddy of America VS Eddy of Korea - Spero Gin VS Jeondding Set from SCR 2017

Highlighting a set of Eddy mirror matches between Jeondding and Spero Gin while they both were at SoCal Regionals. It's a hand cam video of their casuals but these players are both considered amongst the top if not the best Eddy players in their regions so it's interesting to see how the two styles fare in a post tournament set. Korean Player Jeondding is Representing r/Kappa at Manila Cup 2017

Recently on r/Kappa's list of agendas was deciding which fighting game player to sponsor for the upcoming Manila Cup event. The aggregated list of players put forward by the subreddit's users ended up with Jeondding, 310, Daru Ino, Dora, 200won, LowHigh, Kedako, Isamu and Qudans. r/Kappa decided on sending two players from that list of players and the results of the votes saw 310 and Jeondding with most of the final votes. Both of those two players are now set to be repping r/Kappa at Manila Cup which is taking place in Quezon City, Philippines on September 10 and 11. You can look forward to seeing the Tekken Top 8 EVO 2017 finalist get his Lucky Chloe/Eddy/Abs out there over at the tournament.

Jeondding's Recap of his Matches for Top 8 at Evo 2017

Top Korean Eddy player Jeondding competed at Evo this year and put up some incredibly close games with the now Evo champion JDCR. Now that Jeondding has settled back home, he recently got on his Twitch stream to do a quick recap of his experience and matches for Tekken 7's Top 8. Since he did this live in Korean and on his stream, we have to thank dommynick on Neogaf for taking the time to breakdown the main bits and translate them into English for us. There's some great insight in here that goes into what a foreign player has to prepare for when transitioning from the arcade Tekken experience to the console tournament setting so it makes for an interesting read if you're interested in what was going through Jeondding's mind while he was playing. AfreecaTV TEKKEN League 2017 Round of 8

Taking place this Friday and the Friday after is Top 8 of the AfreecaTV Tekken League which has recently proceeded through Top 16. Among the 8 Korean players that will battle it out to make the semi & grandfinals are GoAttack, General, MulGold, and Qudans who are in Group A and Knee, LowHigh, HAO, and Jeondding for Group B. Round of 8 Day 1 matches will be taking place today at 10:00 PM PDT with the next on June 9th so be sure to tune in if you want to watch some world class Tekken from Korea.
