The Red Bull Music Academy has produced a short documentery series that explores the creation of Video Game music in Japan. The latest episode released online from the series features Katsuhiro Harada and the Tekken music team that offers insight into their thoughts on creating music for the Tekken series. It makes for interesting viewing with if you enjoy this kind of 'behind the scenes' look on the Tekken series bundled with the high production RedBull has. If you enjoy watching this episode of the documentary, you can catch other episodes featuring other renowned video game music producers on the Diggin' In The Carts website here.
Payopayo8484 uploaded a whole bunch of Soul Calibur 1 arcade tournament footage recently and they're a really cool look into what that game was like back in the years of 1999 ~ 2000 in Japan. FUG was an absolute monster with that Yoshimitsu back in those days. The video quality is pretty low but it's still good for viewing. Thanks goes to APCR for the heads-up.
UPDATE: I've edited the line regarding the Tekken 7 budget in light of it actually being incorrect. My apologies everyone, if anyone else spots any other incorrect translation please feel free to post them and I will quickly update it.
If you were waching the Namco Sugamo stream, you may remember seeing Katsuhiro Harada discussing with the stream a lot of details on Tekken 7 and it's developments.
