Fumihiko Tachiki returns as special guest narrator to the latest Promotional Video for the next in line numbered MASTERCUP TTT2 tournament. The large Japanese 5on5 tournament is set to go down in Tokyo's Pallete Town Leisure Land with a staggering 176 teams of 5 people entered totaling 880 players entered! Among the list of players entering the tournament, you'll find players like Yuu, Nobi, Furumizu, AO, Burimaru, Gen, Deku, the True Tekken God team from Korea, the second Korean team, and just a lot more of really good players. MASTERCUP.7 is set to occur on the 2nd of November, 2014 with the event being streamed on Twitch.tv featuring Genya, Hameko, MarkMan & Team Spooky performing commentary. Lab Zero Successfully Integrates PS3 Arcade sticks on PS4

Although not directly related to Namco's fighting games, it is definitely relevant to everyone's interests. Lab Zero games have managed to include the drivers for PS3 compatible arcade sticks with the PS4 version of the game and thus saving gamers 100's of dollars from investing in PS4 specific arcade sticks. Fans of Tekken 7 will be facing the same dilemma once the game hits PS4 eventually. Now that everyone knows it's possible and Lab Zero is offering the drivers for free to any developer that wants to use it, you all know who to talk to make sure this feature will be in T7. Tekken 7 Arcade Set For February 2015 Release

If you remembered earlier, there was to be several business meetings this week inside Bandai Namco regarding upcoming arcade games set for release. I've just received early reports from the event that the arcade release of Tekken 7 is set for release on February 2015 next year. This is presumably info pertaining to the Japanese release of the game but if there's confirmation of Tekken 7 in other regions, it should be coming in the near future. Sources below.
