Harada on Revealing Frame Data in Tekken Games

On twitter, Kurokuro asked Harada about displaying official frame data into the Tekken games since it would make his job of creating some match videos with frame data much more easier (Knee Kumite). Harada responds with a lengthy tweet that goes into the decision of not displaying the frame data and the implications of him revealing it. It's quite an interesting read but it's all in Japanese so I took the liberty of translating the whole tweet for us English readers.

Soul Calibur Lost Swords Trailer

NAMCO BANDAI Games has released a promotional video for the upcoming single-player only, PS3 game: Soul Calibur Lost Swords. The trailer shows some of the features you can expect to see in the game and reminds everyone of the elemental stats and loot based gameplay. The game is scheduled to be released on Japanese PSN on February 6, 2014 with no word yet if US/EU getting the game or even a beta test.

Japanese SoulCalibur II HD Online Tier List (1/31)

This is a tier list that was posted onto the internet by Michang who is a Japanese Soul Calibur player that I translated. Although Japan hasn't received the game in Japanese yet, (maybe some differences from say SC2 JP to PAL?) this might spark some interesting discussion and I hope to see more of this game from Japan when more of the players get access to it. SC2 HDO and SC5 Tournament to be Held at Super Arcade on 2/7

Super Arcade will be hosting a Soul Calibur 2 HDO and Soul Calibur 5 tournament on Friday February 7th. Head over to IEBG's site for more details as they become available. This series doesn't get much tournament attention these days so I'm hoping to get a solid turn out from the local scene.
