Japanese Players Yuu, Nobi & Take Share Their Tekken 7 Tier Lists

Yuu, Nobi & Take of Mushin Tekken are back with Volume #2 of their Tekken Attack YouTube show. This volume discusses their thoughts on the game balance and character ranking so they do discuss which characters in the game do better than others. They took turns creating the character lists in the background but then later pool their thoughts together to come up with their placings for the tier list. The Tier Lists listed here are for arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution and is current as of May 2017. That being said, the console version of Tekken 7 does differ from arcade T7FR balancing wise so there's that to factor in going into the console release. TEKKEN 7 - Character Episode Trailer #4

Tekken 7's Pre-Order DLC Character Eliza is Paid DLC 30 Days After Launch

Minor update on the pre-order Character Eliza for Tekken 7. Taken from an official response from the Tekken FaceBook page, we're told that Eliza will specifically be available 30 days after the game launches. That seems standard for other pre-order fighting game characters in other games but it is now there in writing. If you consider the timeframe of release, that should roughly make her available to everyone that didn't pre-order the game 2 weeks before EVO 2017. As mentioned in the fine print on Eliza's promotional image, she's a paid DLC character so if you want to get your hands on the character without paying extra, pre-order Tekken 7.

Kuma Found in the Arcade Version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution

Or what appears like an early version of Kuma. Tekken has always had these little weird stories in arcades where players would find a character in the game that weren't made playable and for Tekken 7 it seems that still lives on. A Japanese player named Peintre Celebre posted on his Twitter about how he went to go play some T7FR before work and managed to find a Kuma CPU opponent in the training mode. There's a photo and video to go with the encounter too. The Kuma found looks a lot different then the one shown in for the console version of the game so this looks like an unintended glitch in the game code. Maybe we might find more characters eventually?

Tekken 7 Season Pass Roadmap - Guest Characters Coming in Late 2017 & Early 2018

UPDATE: A Press Release from Bandai Namco Europe has now been added to this piece!

The Pre-order page for Tekken 7 in Japan went up on PlayStation Network went up today and with that came further details on the Season Pass for Tekken 7. If you get the Deluxe Edition of Tekken 7, the Season Pass included will come with 3 DLC packs that are coming throughout this year and early next year. The source of all the details is in Japanese but I've translated them into English all below!
