TEKKEN 7 - Kuma / Panda Character Reveal Trailer

[Update] New hi-res image renders and in-game screenshots have been added!

Just revealed on the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Grand Finals stream. The beloved comic relief animal characters from the Tekken series, Kuma and Panda will be in Tekken 7. According to what was shared on the stream, Panda and Kuma are not palette swaps and have their own distinct visual appearance as well as their own Rage Art animations. The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Grand Finals Going Live on December 10

Join us in tuning into the Grand Finals for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016. It's been a long time coming but it's time to conclude the year with a big final Tekken tournament to crown our champion of the world. Bandai Namco is organizing an English Twitch stream for the world to tune in and we have a handful of commentators over there in Japan to give us play by plays of the action live. And of course, a new announcement related to the Tekken franchise is expected to take place after all the fierce Tekken competition concludes so there is that to also look forward too. The Grand Finals kicks off in Japan at 9:30 AM Japan time on December 10 (Dec 9 at 4:30 PM PST / 7:30 PM EST) and you can watch it live here:

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Ver. H Tier List From Knee

World class top player Knee (pictured far right) from Korea is over in Japan for his trip to the grand finals for the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 and while there, Kuro Kuro has been streaming his matches from the Akihabara Leisure Land arcade. Given this opportunity, Kuro Kuro once again was able to pick up Knee thoughts on a Tekken 7 FR tier list as well as who he personally thinks on are strong characters in the game. The tier list been posted up on Kuro Kuro's Twitter and you can check it out below but I've added some minor notes that were also included with the tier list below.

Bandai Namco Celebrates 20 Years of the Soul Calibur Series

As reported on Gematsu, Bandai Namco recently put out a video on YouTube celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the SoulCalibur series. It takes you back to the series' beginnings with Soul Edge back in December 20th of 1996 and running up to the f2p Soul Calibur Lost Swords which was released 2 years ago. Bandai Namco put out a Press Release detailing the recent Soul Calibur Pachislot machine which is being made in collaboration with YAMASA to sell to that particular market but it also announced that the Soul Calibur franchise has shipped over 14 Million copies worldwide across all the games. All in all, it's not the new Soul Calibur game announcement we're all looking for but at least Bandai Namco haven't completely forgotten the series.

US-ONLY: 15% Off Tekken 7 Pre-Order at Amazon

An interesting deal popped up today for people in the US. Amazon is right now shaving 15% off the full $60 price tag of Tekken 7 to anyone pre-ordering the game. No one knows how long the deal will last but this is a good chance for US gamers to get $9 off the initial price. I'm not sure what sort of pre-order bonuses will appear later on for those interested but you can always cancel your pre-order if something more intersting comes that tickles your fancy appear in the future.
