Tekken 7 - Namco Sugamo's End of Year Megane Grand Prix

Happy New Year everyone! Contained within are the Megane Grand Prix videos which recently took place in Namco Sugamo arcade as their big end of 2015 Tekken event. Hosted by Shudy, the format for 2015's Megane Grand Prix is 3on3 Teams with Waseda style format which pits every member on a team against each other opponent on the opposing team at the same time. Each win from a player gives the team a single point and the team with the most points wins. This team tournament is not similar to the MASTERCUP format as it doesn't have that aspect of a winning player carrying momentum to defeat an enemy team. Round-Up: Tekken 7 Interviews At Jump Festa 2016

Jump Festa 2016 was a mainly Anime/Manga event that went down in Japan this past weekend but Bandai Namco Entertainment was present to announce a whole slew of games. Gaming press at the event got the chance to get updates on the Tekken series by interviewing the lead game designer and Harada's personal translator Michael Murray. There's piecemeal bits of information on Tekken 7 & Tekken X Street Fighter revealed accross numerous sites so this post will be rounding it all up.

Complete Batch of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Images in High Quality

These are the remaining batch of direct feed images that were released last week on the Tekken official Facebook page. For some reason, they didn't initially upload every promotional image onto Facebook and at it's original Full 1080p quality. I grabbed all the original quality images from the Bandai Namco Entertainment press site and uploaded it all below. They're resized again to fit the page but you can right click and save them to have them in their full HDness. Warning for those on slower internet connections, it might take you awhile to load all the images.

Arcade Tekken 7 Large Scale Customization Campaign

A new online update to the Arcade versions of Tekken 7 rolled out today which contains improvements to the online matchmaking as well as a large addition of character customizations. Tekken 7 'Ver. L' brings along at least 1 new costume for each character and some of these might be costumes some have been waiting for. To get in on some of the customizations, TEKKEN-NET is running a large scale customization campaign from December 16th to January 13th Japan time for players to get a chance to get everything. The customization should be rolled out now to all regions with Tekken 7 arcade cabinets linked to Tekken-net so check and log-in to your Tekken-net site to check it out. Direct Feed Screenshots of New Defaults and Stages

UPDATE (Wonkey): Added all the images below this post for those who can't access the Facebook page. All the images are original size but resized to 645 px to fit the page. Right click -> View Image or saving the images will keep the original size. Also maybe it's just me but some of these images look to have some kind of film grain and slight chromatic aberration added in. Not sure if indicative of final graphical quality.

Along with the official trailer released yesterday, Namco also officially revealed some direct feed screenshots of the 7 characters that have new default outfits oon their official facebook page. And yes, Harada confirmed that the new attires worn during the KOIF2015 championship trailer are indeed default and not customizations. A lot of people have been asking for this a long time and it's great to see our wishes finally being answered.  The images are too big to display on this article so be sure to view them on this page.
