Tekken Project X Summer Lesson Stage Show at Tokyo Game Show 2015

A bit of news came out which might be slightly related to Tekken at Tokyo Game Show which is happening this weekend. On September 17th at 3:00 PM Japan time, Bandai Namco will be organising a "Tekken Project X Summer Lesson" stage show at the Bandai Namco booth featuring the promotional Lucky Chloe cosplayer Hinako Sano. It seems primarily geared towards Summer Lesson, the Project Morpheus VR demo that the Tekken Project is also working on but there's going to be some 'promotion for Tekken's 20th Anniversary' too at the show. Although it doesn't state outright that they'll be presenting anything new regarding Tekken 7. In other news, Bandai Namco is for the first time streaming Tokyo Game Show on Twitch with some performers from WORLD OTAKU MATE in English. When we get any details on the stream or any big news related to Tekken in the future, we'll try to cover it. (If we get it at all, of course.)

Michael Murray Shares Further Insight on King Of Iron Fist Tournament Qualifiers

--------

These comments were recently posted on our previous US qualifier post for KOIFT 2015 and while it's nice of him to take the time to do this, I feel that this might not be seen since they're stashed away in the comment section. It offers some insights as well as details some future plans so it's well worth knowing. The last comment was posted on the Shoryuken article here. Keep an eye out on the official Tekken Facebook page for news in the future:

OzHadou Nationals 13 & Tekken World 2015 Occurring this Weekend

I get to be kinda lazy this time thanks to a certain post on r/Kappa. Just to briefly describe, Ozhadou Nationals 13 is the latest in Australia's longest running fighting game tournaments in the country that is held in the city of Sydney. This year, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 returns as a sort of last 'hurrah' for the game at the event and some of the best players in the country are competing. That, and there's also the usual stuff like UMVC3, SFV, MKX etc to watch at the event.

OzHadou Nationals 13:

"Tekken World" is a yearly Spanish Tekken tournament with the latest being held this weekend and it's actually Spain's largest Tekken tournament I believe. For this year, JDCR has been invited along to the event and will be interesting to see how he stacks up against the Spanish.

Kagemaru From Japan Enters Ultimate Tournament XVI

Yet another from Japan, Kagemaru is entering Ultimate Tournament XVI on October 17th in France! You may recognise this player from representing Japan alongside Nobi at Global Championships 2013 and make multiple top 8s at MASTERCUP events. All together now, Kagemaru, Take & AO will be making their way from Japan to battle against Europe. This does not conclude all the international guest announcements as there are still more to come in the future. Familiarize yourself with Kagemaru with the PV for him below.

King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 - Japan Qualifier Details

Details on the official website for the Japanese qualifiers for the King of Iron Fist 2015 tournament going down later this year have sprung up alongside the names of every entered participant now that the entry deadline is up. I'm going to gloss over most of the detail regarding the Japanese qualifiers for the tournament but to give you the most important bit upfront: Japan will have 6 qualifying players for the tournament not counting AO and Nobi who have already qualified due to their performance at EVO 2015. Like the Korean qualifiers, Japan will be getting 3 divisions of player entrants but this time from both east and west Japan. Full source of the details are up on the official website for the tournament:
