Soul Calibur 6 - Trophy List, Online Match Finder in Training Mode, Alternate Battle Modes and More

SoulCalibur VI is mere days away but news on the features from the game have already been coming out due to early copies and reviewers. The trophy list for SC6 is out in the wilds and while not big on the spoilers (easy plat btw), it details how in-depth the single-player 'Libra of Soul' mode is in the game. Early reports from people that are currently playing say it takes over 10+ hours to complete the mode and that's not including doing everything you can in there. The other stuff for the game include; Alternate Battle modes which you can toggle to make the matches more wacky or disable Ring Outs, the in-game resources, Match Standby in Arcade / Training mode and some more. Soul Calibur 6 Battle Prologue in Nakano Event on October 14

A pre-release double elimination tournament for Soul Calibur 6 is taking place later today in Tokyo, Japan. The 'Battle Prologue in Nakano' event is an official Bandai Namco run tournament at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere venue and over 100 players have already signed up to battle it out. You can expect to see a lot of competitive SC6 action happening with the event being streamed live on both YouTube and the SoulCalibur Twitch channel for everyone to watch. For people planning on being there at the venue, there's going to be cosplayers, art galleries, merchandise prizes and demo builds of the game present to get you all excited for Soul Calibur 6 right before it comes out later this week. Korea's Green Arcade Closes its Doors

The end of an era. Green Game Land (그린게임랜드) in Daerim, South Korea is shutting down. News of the closure was posted by Knee alongside a photo showing the arcade closing up and starting to haul all the cabinets out. For many years, Green Arcade has been the cultural Tekken mecca that produced the best players in the entire world and you can see it with walls filled with posters and trophies across many Tekken games. All the longstanding history from the arcade; dating back to ancient days of the earlier Tekkens, are now over. The future for Korean Tekken in arcades is now uncertain. Thanks for playing.

Soul Calibur 6 - Inferno Character Reveal Trailer

Update: Official reveal trailer is now up.

Inferno was previously leaked but the unlockable boss character for Soul Calibur 6 now gets a proper reveal trailer courtesy of the PlayStation Facebook page. He can be used in offline VS modes when you unlock him but Inferno can't be used at all in the online multiplayer modes. He appears in Soul Calibur 6 as a mimic character going by his Fighting Style but you can check out some of his own unique attacks in the new reveal trailer.
