Soul Calibur 6 - Unlockable Character Inferno Gameplay Video

Gameplay footage of the unlockable boss character Inferno, has come online courtesy of the Finnish gaming outlet Checkpoint TV. Checkpoint TV were originally the guys that leaked Inferno as an unlockable character when they finished the main storyline in the Chronicle of Souls mode. As you can see in the gameplay footage, Inferno is largely a clone character using Nightmare's movelist with some of his own exclusive moves and animations so you can sort of think of him like how normal Kazumi and Devil Kazumi differentiate if you're familiar with Tekken 7. Check out the gameplay video while you can before it probably gets taken down.

Arcade "Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2" Slated for February 2019

Update: Rumors of this upcoming arcade update has seemingly surfaced on the Japanese TekkenBBS site. I can't personally verify it's authenticity but for the sake of coverage, I've added and translated it down below.

Round 2 of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is scheduled to release early next year, as details for a new arcade version of the game surface online. The full official title is "TEKKEN7 FATED RETRIBUTION ROUND 2" and it could potentially see the release of Season 2 content from the home versions of Tekken 7 carried over to Japanese arcades. This would maybe include the 5 characters included in Tekken 7's Season Pass 2 featuring Anna Williams, Lei Wulong and 3 other characters incorporated into a new version. There's not much else detailed about the release of this new arcade cabinet beyond that orders for arcade operators end on October 31st. Location testing details for the new arcade version of Tekken 7 should come in the near future, perhaps an announcement at the upcoming Mastercup.10?

Soul Calibur 6 - PlayStation 4 & Xbox One Network Test Survey

The online network test hasn't officially commenced but a survey is available for people to eventually fill out. This will be your window to tell the developers how your experience with the network test went and to report any bugs you found within the game. The survey link comes from the official Japanese Soul Calibur 6 web page and an English survey link was provided alongside the Japanese survey. The PlayStation and Microsoft store in certain regions has already been updated with the Soul Calibur 6 Network Test client so get to it if you want to pre-load it and get ready for the weekend of Souls and Swords.

Popular Twitch Streamer Forsen Reaches Yellow Ranks Online in First Week of Playing Tekken 7

Tekken 7 has seen a recent surge of popularity within the past week after popular Twitch streamers started picking up and streaming the game. Forsen, Imaqtpie, Sodapoppin, Dyrus and Moonmoon were among the recent greenhorns dipping into the online Ranked Mode while probably showing off Tekken 7 to a much wider audience. Forsen in particular was probably the most note-worthy in that group for sticking to the game and even climbing a fairly decent way in the ranks. Sure, Tekken 7 Season 2 did make ranking up much more easier and faster but, climbing all the way to Juggernaut within a week of picking up the game is a lot more than other people who've been playing for months and stuck in greens could possibly say. If anything, Forsen's playthrough makes an interesting watch of someone completely brand new get into playing Tekken.
