A 'Pre-Launch' Arcade Version of Tekken 7 will Launch in Feb 2015

Korean gaming site Cyfren recently published an interview that they scored with Harada and there's some interesting bit of news regarding Tekken 7 in it. Namco Sugamo 12/3 Ranking Battles Feat. Mr Naps, JDCR & Saint!

Oh so that's what the Tekken official page meant by having 'world champions' coming in to compete for the exhibition tournament this Sunday for the 20th anniversary. Previous Global Championship's 2013 competitors Saint and JDCR from Korea and Jimmy/Mr Naps from the US are currently in Japan and played in yesterday's Ranking Battles in Namco Sugamo! You can watch how these international competitors fare up against the locals at Namco Sugamo thanks to the Sugamo niconico stream. The Ranking Battle was also followed up with a Saint VS Take deathmatch afterwards but it wasn't all completely streamed unfortunately. (The result of the deathmatch if you're curious.) E-Sports MAX TEKKEN Showdown Nobi VS Help Me

That Japanese E-sports show recently uploaded the videos of the Nobi vs Help Me match that was broadcasted on TV onto YouTube. Much faster this time around which is nice to see. TEKKEN's 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Event Announced

The TEKKEN franchise is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this month and Bandai Namco has announced that they're holding a 'Thanksgiving' event for all fans of the series to celebrate. The niconico broadcast of this event will feature the latest Tekken game: TEKKEN 7 with a 'Exhibition Tournament' featuring some 'world champions' of the series. Of course, the latest news on TEKKEN 7 will be revealed in the event as well as have special guests Katsuhiro Harada and Yuriko Tiger in the broadcast. There are to be more special guests in the event but they haven't yet been announced. The niconico stream of this event will occur on the 7th of December, 2014 and run from 12:30 PM until 6:00 PM Japan time.

TNT Slugfest #1 Archive + Results

This weekend the inaugural tri-monthly London Tekken-only tournament "Total Non-Stop Tekken Slugfest" hosted by the HeartofGaming concluded. The event was streamed by TheWonderPark and the archives are posted below. The tournament had lot so of international competition accross Europe including countries like France, Greece, Ireland, among others. The characters present in grand finals was also a huge suprise which is a testament to the variety seein in European Tekken. Archive streams embedded below.
