Tekken 7 - AfreecaTV Tekken League Season 3 Matches with Knee, Qudans, LowHigh, Malgu & More

The Group A & B stages of Season 3 of the AfreecaTV Tekken League took place this past weekend and there was plenty of just really good Tekken matches from the likes of Knee, Qudans, LowHigh, Malgu, Help Me, Jeondding, Chanel and UlsanGoDing to come from it. I think a surprising aspect during these Tekken 7 matches were the character picks some of the players went with in here. There's plenty footage of high level Korean Tekken from here so it's a recommended watch if you want to see how the Tekken pros do it. Tekken 7 FR Update Ver.Q Adds Console Stages to the Arcades

The arcade version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is getting a new online update on the 14th of November and it is said to be bringing new stages to that version of the game. Listed in the Tekken Official notice for the new update, Version Q will be bringing over three stages that are from the console/PC release of Tekken 7. The three stages making their way to the arcade side are G.CORP Helipad (Day), Violet Systems & Infinite Azure. Although there are way more stages in the console version that are still not in the arcade version, the update mentions that there are plans to add in more stages from the home version eventually so look forward to that if you happen to play in arcades. Especially since the Arena stage was featured in the Lars NJPW costume trailer. Apart from that, not much else to say about the update since it contains no balance changes. New Lars Costume & Theme Revealed in 3rd Arcade T7FR x NJPW Collaboration

A 3rd collaboration between Arcade Tekken 7 Fated Retribution and New Japan Pro Wrestling has come to light through a new trailer. Lars Alexandersson is getting a new in-game costume inspired by Hiroshi Tanahashi and it comes with an entirely new Rage Art animation 'Sling Blade' as well as the 'LOVE&ENERGY' theme that'll play when you use the outfit. The collaboration will start in the Japanese Tekken-net starting from the 18th of November so be out on the look out for that if you happen to have access to those arcade cabinets. No word yet on if this will come to console/PC Tekken 7 but it might in the future seeing as the King x NJPW costume did make it into the game. You can check out the NJPW Lars costume trailer below.

Tekken 7 FR Arcade Online Update 'Version N' Balance Changelist

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is updating to Version N later today in Japan & Korea and with it comes various character balance changes. The changelist was leaked online prior to the official reveal but here is a translation of the list which includes changes to Hwoarang, Xiaoyu, Jack, Bryan, Lili, Lee, Gigas, Leo, Lucky Chloe, Kazumi, Master Raven, Eddy, Nina & Eliza. Reading the list, it sounds like most of the changes made to the game were either bug fixes or adjustments to help consistency so it's not too severe of an overall meta shifting balance adjustment. T7FR - Taisei (Shaheen/Law) VS Penguin (Paul) Deathmatches

The Game Spot Versus arcade located in the Nishi-Nippori area of Tokyo, Japan has recently been streaming high level deathmatches over on its Twitch and YouTube channels. Recent uploads over on there see Taisei; who you may remember seeing in the Top 8 of Tekken at Evo this year playing against the high ranked Japanese Paul player Penguin. As of looking at the Japanese Tekken-Net rankings right now, Taisei is 2nd with Shaheen and Penguin is 8th with Paul. If you happen to be picking up or playing these characters, consider watching these matches to get an idea on how to play them.
