Pre-Registration Opens for New Tekken Smartphone App

A new Tekken Smartphone app has been unveiled for both iOS & Android devices. This new Tekken app is said to bring the familiar Tekken combat to the small screen with easy to perform combos, a layer of customization to your characters and teams and even a story mode in which a 'Revenant' character is featured. Other details on the phone app is scarce but pre-registration for those looking to get in on the app is now open with a tiered reward system in place for the amount registered. Tekken World Tour Korea Master Event Top 8 YouTube Archives

The TWT Korea Master Event was without a doubt the most difficult tournament for anyone on this planet to win due to it being on South Korea's own soil. This tournament featured a large concentration of world class Tekken players from the region along with foreign Japanese invaders aiming for TWT points to qualify for the Grand Finals. JDCR, Saint, Knee, Nobi, Take, Yuu, Chikurin, Jeondding and a whole bunch of some of the lesser known players from the scenes like Noroma, Cherry Berry Mango, Lili man and more were all at this tournament. It took awhile but official YouTube archives for the Top 8 are now available on the Bandai Namco Fight channel so feel free to re-watch all the matches anytime:

T7 Online Ranked Matches - Japan's Highest Ranked Lee Player VS Knee & Ji3MoonAce

If you have ever been following the Japanese Tekken scene for the past few games, the name Hari (はりー) might be familiar. He's a notable Lee player who is at this point in time, currently Japan's highest ranked Lee player in arcades. He was also a really high ranker back in Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2 arcades so he knows his way around using Lee. Recently, Hari has been recording his matches online in Tekken 7 and uploaded footage of him deathmatching Korean players; Knee and Ji3MoonAce. These matches make for a good watch despite the online Japan to Korea connection so take note if you're interested in playing Lee. Tekken 7 Sales Exceed 1.6 Million Units Worldwide

The latest earnings report from Bandai Namco has come in and it has announced that Tekken 7 exceeded 1.66 million units sold worldwide. Bandai Namco currently forecasted home versions of Tekken 7 to sell 2.1 million units by the year end but the strong start to the sales target is attributed to units of the game sold in Europe and America. The game so far, has proven to be a popular hit.
