Tekken 7 – July 28th Update – PC Version Patch Notes

New Steam update for Tekken 7 is out and it weighs 53.8mb this time. This particular update makes multiple changes to the game which were made earlier on the console versions of Tekken 7 but now brought to the PC version. Changes include reverting the black and darker colors in customization mode, online improvements, the ability to revenge match infinitely and more. Tekken 7 is Getting Free DLC Taiko no Tatsujin Items and Eliza on July 28th

Announced on the MASTERCUP Tekken Fight club nico stream were relatively minor stuff. The pre-order DLC character Eliza is being made available for separate purchase for people who didn't pre-order Tekken 7 for 500 yen which is roughly around $5 USD. She'll be available for purchase on the PlayStation store, Xbox Marketplace and Steam store on July 28th. Next up are free DLC customization items from the previous Taiko no Tatsujin collaboration with 10 pieces of customization to download. They're all old stuff from the arcade version of Tekken 7 but it features Taiko characters with hit & sound effects to equip on your characters. MASTERCUP Tekken Fight Club Niconico Stream on July 25th

Tomorrow night in Tokyo, Japan is the MASTERCUP Tekken Fight Club stream on niconico. The niconico "Tou.channel" (闘.ch) is presenting an online broadcast with the large-scale user community tournament MASTERCUP and Tekken playing pros Yuu & Nobi from Yamasa for a Tekken Fight Club special. Bandai Namco is confirmed for an appearance with Tekken dev team members Katushiro Harada and Nakatsu to appear as guests and present the latest news on Tekken 7 during the stream. The broadcast will go over the MASTERCUP series of tournaments, feature a Tekken lesson from Tekken pros with an online tournament after it and then potentially new announcements regarding Tekken 7 so tune in tomorrow at 8 PM Japan time (4 AM PDT) to catch the broadcast live. PS4/XB1 Tekken 7 Version 1.04 Update Restores Black Colors in Customization

If you're reading this, then go and update Tekken 7 on your PS4 or XB1; Version 1.04 update is now live for you to download. The main fix included in this update was bringing back the dark and black colors in the game's customization mode after it was taken away in Ver. 1.03 due to a specific Dragunov's costume which could be painted all black. There's no other changes listed in the update notes nor any official notes anywhere so this 740 mb update presumably is for reverting the colors back. If you play on PC, then all the previous console updates are being rolled into a single patch at the end of this month.

Jeondding's Recap of his Matches for Top 8 at Evo 2017

Top Korean Eddy player Jeondding competed at Evo this year and put up some incredibly close games with the now Evo champion JDCR. Now that Jeondding has settled back home, he recently got on his Twitch stream to do a quick recap of his experience and matches for Tekken 7's Top 8. Since he did this live in Korean and on his stream, we have to thank dommynick on Neogaf for taking the time to breakdown the main bits and translate them into English for us. There's some great insight in here that goes into what a foreign player has to prepare for when transitioning from the arcade Tekken experience to the console tournament setting so it makes for an interesting read if you're interested in what was going through Jeondding's mind while he was playing.
