Tekken 7 - AfreecaTV Tekken League Season 3 Matches with Knee, Qudans, LowHigh, Malgu & More

The Group A & B stages of Season 3 of the AfreecaTV Tekken League took place this past weekend and there was plenty of just really good Tekken matches from the likes of Knee, Qudans, LowHigh, Malgu, Help Me, Jeondding, Chanel and UlsanGoDing to come from it. I think a surprising aspect during these Tekken 7 matches were the character picks some of the players went with in here. There's plenty footage of high level Korean Tekken from here so it's a recommended watch if you want to see how the Tekken pros do it. These matches were streamed live over on the AfreecaTV streaming website but the VODs are now available on the NiceGameTV YouTube channel so check them out:

Knee's Tekken 7 Tier List in Tournaments

[Click to expand image] -- [Click to see Knee's Tier List for Deathmatches]

Aaand here we have Knee's Tekken 7 tier list that is geared toward ranking characters in a console PS4 standard tournament format. Mishima characters, Leo and Xiaoyu move down in rankings while Jack-7 jumps right up to the top. It's important to note that while making this tier list in the video, Knee mentions multiple times throughout that the current PS4 input lag makes a big impact on how characters fare so that's why the disparity between his deathmatch and tournament lists. Again, the video of Knee and Kuro Kuro creating the list is now up and you can see some remarks on the list on Knee's twitter.

Knee's Tekken 7 Tier List in Deathmatches

[Click to expand image] -- [Click to see Knee's Tier List for Tournaments]

I don't think anyone else on this planet is more qualified to make a deathmatch focused tier list for Tekken 7 right now. The image you see above is the conclusion to a tier list brainstorm Knee did with Kuro Kuro while in Japan recently. Considering the nature of the list, you can expect that it is primarily focused on characters that perform in a long deathmatch setting so these listings don't necessarily reflect his thoughts on the characters in a tournament BO3 format. Kuro Kuro uploaded a video of him and Knee in a tiny computer room and during the process you can hear him mentioning at some points whether or not a player has managed to get high ranks with certain characters so there's also that to factor in. For those curious and want to see the list as it is being made, you can catch Kuro Kuro's latest video upload of the tier list.

Tekken 7 - Knee VS Nobi Arcade Deathmatches

Clash of the Tekken titans once again, Nobi and Knee came together in Japan to battle it out for region pride. Historically, Knee is usually the dominating deathmatching machine that ends up demoting most of the people he plays against but Nobi in recent times have been going back and forth with Knee across Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to Tekken 7 vanilla and now the current version of Tekken 7 in arcades. It's the countries' best pitted against each other so come check out how it all went down. Once again, huge thanks goes to Kuro Kuro for streaming and uploading all the match footage.
